Yeah man! Anyways I gotta go to Canadian Tire soon, I have to get those lures :) I also want to expand my arsenal but I mostly troll and cast, not so much jig, so dropshotting is kinda out there for me.

.I never know what to put in these things.

What are your guy's opinion on spiderwire? I know that in florida many commercial fishermen/charters absolutely hate the stuff.

Can I join, I fish pretty avidly, athough, I have no pictures as of lately. I also hunt, but not as often.

For trout, I have an ugly stick with a shimano reel and normally run a 6 lb test on it. For salmon, same thing, just bigger and with 20 lb.
I normally hunt with my remington 597, I don't normally go for larger game just because we have beef cows. But for moose hunting I normally use my marlin 30-30 or my remington .35 bushmaster.

And spiderwire sucks, It breaks on everything, and it seems to rat nest alot easier than Other line I've been using. Right now I have a spool of it, and I just use that for temporarely holding leather projects together.

tried spiderwire. now use power pro, but have been playing around with suffix 832.

My favorite lure is probably a crankbait. My most productive lure is a weedless/weightless trick worm

Depends, nothing fights harder than a big smallie, and nothing is as aggressive.

Try 3.5 pound smallies on ultra light. NOTHING fights harder.

Yeah smallies do put up a pretty good fight. My grandpa caught a massive sunfish, if I had a camera I would have taken a picture of it. It was almost the size of a dinner plate, it was for sure a trophy!

Gasper goo's are fun to catch. Only reason I like to catch them is to pull the rocks out of their heads though. Other than that I fish exclusively for bass.

That's a very nice bass! What would you guys recommend for lures to buy for casting? I seem to be lacking some topwaters (I might pick up some hula poppers), and I am looking for lures that just go underneath the surface to use in heavy weeds.
