Shot a large black squirrel yesterday right through the shoulder with a .22 ( i only had iron sights, I know it should be a head shot). The remington .22 golden hollow points do massive internal damage. There was probably a cavity inside the thing big enough for a golf ball to fit.

Nice bass JellyFilled! I should really get a .22 just for target practice. Canscom, can you not even tie the fisherman's not? That's like the easiest one.

I can either I'm not snugging the note down and its slipping or the lines breaking and it needs to be replaced

Improved Clinch Knot, most important lesson in fishing. NEVER USE SNAP SWIVELS IF YOU ARE TARGETING LARGE FISH, THEY WILL BREAK!!!.

I have had it happen to me too many times where i lost a very large fish because of damn snap swivels, take it from me, Don't use them

Its the line if its breaking on you when you are just tying it.

You WILL be KICKING yourself if you lose a big fish on a snap swivel, this summer i lost an 7+ pound largemouth using a damn snap swivel, sure i've caught many large fish on snaps but you will feel stupid when you lose the fish of a lifetime on one of those things.

Lol, my friend did it the easy way, he's going to school to be a Conservation Officer so they had to do a fish survey on lower buckhorn lake at fish camp for a week. The biggest fish they had all week was right at the camp on the last day. They had 2 huge bass and I think 5 nice walleye. They also had some good muskie throughout the week. Like 30's and 40's inchers.

I went fishing the other day and something happened that amazed me. I was flipping a tube, and I got a fish. When I set the hook, it literally made the fish come out and fly through the air. The fish then slammed onto a rock. When I went to remove the hook, it was pretty much lifeless. But the I realized, 'What the fuck, my bait is almost as big as the fish, and he swallowed the damn thing.' There was no way the bait was coming out, as there was about a millimeter of free slack in his mouth. Needless to say, the fish died, and I lost my brand new tube jig.

You should have just cut him open if he was dead and retrieved the tube.

It's about mid season for me, not a lot is in other than the stocked lakes, and those fish are no fun.
Starting to get cold, about time for rabbit hunting, they are turning white and are easy targets.

Ice fishing is fun, its really not as cold as you think it is, as long as you dress fairly warm.

I love it because its the only time im not sure if im going to catch a bass, trout, pike, pickrel, sunny, crappie or a salmon.

Fish really dont move much all year round. I would suggest finding areas with large boulders/small main body humps. If you are not sure where these are go online many places have depth charts of the lakes and ponds, and if you dont mind fishing close to people just show up and look for holes/people. More people are friendly ice fishing than they are regular fishing, due to the fact that many people use ice fishing as just an excuse to get hammered lol.

Yes indeed, if you guys have anything to suggest just post it up!

Oh and I haven't bought the DM7 yet. The guy didn't have it set up right, the trigger was way to sensitive, ( or maybe I'm just not used to an electro lol) it kicked so much it was as bad as my 98 custom. I believe it was shooting over 300 fps and the regulators weren't adjusted right. Also it would be fine if you one balled it but as soon as you started shooting fast it would shoot down until it could shoot no more, and then it would make kind of an airing up sound and it would be fine until you did the same thing again. He said he noticed the lights were dim after he brought it back into the shop so he changed the battery and it apparently fixed it. He is also getting the regulators readjusted.
