Wow, you guys have really fell off the face of the earth lately, been killing the bass at the pond down the road from my house, had a bunch of fish 1-2 pounds and found a dead 5 pounder, that made me sad. But soon the saltwater fishing will pick up and thats always good

Really hunting season is over, all we got left in NY is turkey season. Or you can go pop some woodchucks at the local farm but besides that..... No more hunting, all fishing

^ yeah hunting is kind if done now. Icee is all gone off our lake so hopefully I'll be able to catch something. I'll probably get a job this summer so I don't think I'll be able to go to my grandmas for my fishing trip this year :(

Fishings just starting to turn on here... caught a bunch of dock fish last weekend as well as post spawn cruisers.

Striper season is just starting here, not sure if theyve made it that far north yet. But you never know.

Bass tourny this saturday, good chance i will win. Went and prefished, fishing was tough. This is my home lake so if it was tough for me its going to be insaine for everyone else.

Well, went to my favourite spot but the water was running waaay too fast so just hiked around for a bit and enjoyed the scenery. Drove back to town and made a pit stop at a brook I've been having luck at as of late. Caught my limit of okay sized brook trout but nothing major. Watched 2 12-14 inchers totally ignore my hook though which was pretty depressing, my hook seemed to scare them more than anything.

came in 4tha at that tourny. things completely changed after a week of near 100 degree days and the week before was 50 and rainy, so the water was nasty coffee color in all my good spots and in maine if you dont have 10+ feet of visibility you can say good bye. managed to figure them out in the last hour, just didnt have enough time after that. they were in 8-14 feet eating craw dads on isolated rock piles.

When is the age limit in the states before you can get your license? Here in Canada it's 18.

Not sure about the states but it varies province to province. In New Brunswick you need a license at 16+

Nice, I went out fishing a few times with my cousin but only caught small stuff. I have spent the last night/into the morning looking up the mercury tower of powers. I have one on a 1500 tower on our 18'6 Glastron Swinger that is just waiting to get some engine work done then blaze across the water  :D. It got me thinking...what boats/motors do you guys use?

Especially because I live on a large lake so it's hard to go places where the fish are. Are you thinking of upgrading to a little fishing boat with a small outboard on it any time soon?

I've been thinking about getting a little aluminum boat that i could take out of the lakes and bays, but I'm most likely going to get a little pontoon and do some float trips down the rivers.
