Ok, I'm falling in love with all these guns. I love the trigger of the reflex. I love how smooth the Axe is, and I haven't touched the eteks but I like the ethas. what's the best?

Axe because of smoothness, tooless bolt removal, easy maintenance, good efficiency, nice trigger.

All these markers don't cost much to make for the manufacturer but the axe can compete with highends it just has waaaay more reasonable price.

The axe would need a upgrade on the stock barrel also you can upgrade the bolt to make it compete better with the higher end guns. Although do you really want to buy a gun that out of the box you will already be thinking upgrades? Im in the same boat as you. Looking into the same guns with the same possible setup; however allot of people have said to me that buying a old higher end gun is the way to go. Like a planet eclipse ego 09, same price as a new axe but the ego is ready to go for any level of play with a rotor/ninja.

also you have the bob long g6r; however it need a LP tank

and the older Dye DM 07/08/09....they are spool valve tho and from what i read are more maintenance.

The Axe is the cheapest of the mid range markers, and with a 30$ upgraded bolt it will still be the cheapest while having the best performance. A upgraded barrel is not "NEEDED" I was fine with the stock Axe barrel for months before I got my deadlywind fibur barrel. It's just recommended... ;)

I like the 2012 Reflex over them.

Reflex. Most likely feels the best and shoots sex on top of it. I like the Axe but the weird ergo's make me question my existence. The etek is...... not good.

Ergo? Is that the grip of the gun?

yes basically the feel. If it doesn't feel right it will never perform as good as it could. Try out the Reflex or better yet the NT then try a spyder or an axe, although its personal preference it weighs very heavily into the Reflex or UL frame's side.

Jawz is right about the ergos of the Axe. It has weird ergos... I mean, I have the Axe(I was originally going to get an Etek), but it really is personal preference. The Axe's ergos don't really bother me too much. The smoothness and quietness justifies the slightly awkward foregrip for me. The Reflex has great ergos with a smooth shot as well, but it's not too efficient. The Etek had great ergos, but I just found the Axe to be better for me because of the shot quality.
