So I am hunting for a new knife (no pun intended) and I want it to be a folder.

All I do is eat with it so just tell me what you like and YES I am that weird person who likes to eat with $200 combat knives.Posted Image

Stop worrying about how you look, and start worrying about how you play. Get out on the field and play paintball the best you can, not stand at home in front of a mirror trying to figure out if your jersey matches your eyes.

if price is not an option.... Dark Ops Strato Fighter... out of all the folding knives i've owned (quite a few, some military issue) the Strato Fighter is the only one whose blade i havent managed to snap, chip, or bend... but, the are a 1/4 inch think blade, and built to withstand the same forces that a fixed blade can... and they are rather large folders, its a full sized fighting knife... i used to own the Stiletto version, and i loved it... yet, it mysteriously disappeared out of my ruck sack on my way home from a deployment to Kuwait/Iraq... the knife made it back to Ft. McCoy, but not back to NH with me... and i know i packed it... some TSA agent now has a very nice, and heavily used, fighting knife for free...

So is every other non military American. He actually puts firearms through their paces like that are meant to be. He's also a super nice guy! I've met him numerous times at shot show.

he may well be a nice guy... but i've never once seen a review of his i can trust... i watched his review of the tom brown tracker knife from TOPs and he completely missed the point of that knife in his review... so, i coudl care less if he is a nice guy or not, i still think he is a fool

Just asking, is Benchmade too mainstream?

Everyone has their opinions which is understandable. His tac gear reviews have always steared me in tje right direction but I just run a kbar for a knife. Simple, easy to sharpen and gets the job done.

Mainstream or not, if you like it and it fits your needs get it.

My dad has a balisong with mother of pearl handles that he got in the 80's. It's just about the coolest knife I've ever seen.

ZT 0300 series. I'm rocking the 0301 and sticky rocks the 0303. S30v steel, rock solid construction, and awesome customer service...and free sharpening for the life of the blade!!!! Definitely go ZT if price isn't a concern.

Check out nutnfancy's video on the 0300 series for a nice review.
