I'm in a position to acquire a freak kit from someone for a great price (they're family). Only one problem... His freak backs are Angel threaded, and I need autococker threading. I currently use a Deadlwind Null (the one that can't use inserts) and I'm thinking of selling it to buy the kit and a autococker back. Problem is, I don't know if it would be easier to just get a autococker to angel adapter rather than get a new freak back altogether. Is it worth it? Opinions?
Thank you everyone for any input, have a good one.

EDIT: Also if anyone could recommend specific companies I could use for either option that would be great :)

The best customer service is the one you don't have to call in the first place.

Just get a new back. I don't like the idea of an adapter going into an underbore. With the adapter, there is a gap between where the ball gets fired and the underbore insert. That means the ball is already accelerating before hitting the smaller bore. This in my mind can lead to barrel break problems. Without the adapter, the ball is pushed by the bolt into the underbore before its fired.

I didn't even think about that -_- I was more concerned with the price. Thanks

So an autococker freak back.. Any idea of prices and where to find them? Anything I should be aware of?

Here you go:

There's a sleuth of colors to choose from. Be sure the one you pick is autococker threaded (or whatever thread you need).

Or, you can check the BSTs for Freak backs. There's always at least a half a dozen threads with AC Freak backs being sold.
