The European Team, Toulouse Tontons have secured a spot in the PSP Pro division for the 2013 season. Toulouse are currently in search of American professionals that may be interested in being added to their roster. We touched base with Tonton's team Captain, Fabrice "Tavarez" Colombo, who had this to say: "…we are coming to play PSP pro next season. We are looking for one or two U.S. player for next year. The difficulty is that we don't know who is free to leave his team or who will be able to join Tonton. Knowing that next year we are are competing on the PSP, Millennium and French leagues. We would like to pick up some good players, because we really want to fight for the top of the ranks."

With Axel Gaudin's recent announcement to leave Moscow Red Legion and join his European teammates on the Tontons, you can rest assured that they are serious. Jason Wheeler was another player that competed for them in Europe, but he has chosen to remain in a Moscow Red Legion jersey for this years PSP season.

If you think the Toulouse Tontons competitive level is something to be taken lightly, you would be strongly mistaken. Just last year, the Tontons took first place in the Millennium Series London Masters, defeating the likes of San Diego Dynasty and finishing two places ahead of Art Chaos Moscow.

The Tontons team captain has asked us to aid him in his search for a player that can travel the world and compete in paintball at the professional level. Any players (preferably with professional playing experience) feel free to shoot us an email via our contact form (http://socialpaintball.com/contact/), and we'll place you in contact with their team captain.

Hmmmmm!!! The Red Legion are getting carved up left and right.

I'd like to see how the TonTons do, it will be very interesting. Most people don't know the level of players here in Europe and unfortunately it isn't up to par with the States. I've played in Millennium events and actually saw TonTons play and their skill set just isn't as high as the pro teams in the states. I want to see them do well in the PSP but I have my doubts. I think they will be at the bottom of the rung like Thunder & CEP, but best of luck to them for sure.

Seriously?

Well anyways. They did pick up some really good players from Europe, So I think they will be able to play any team just fine.

I Even heard they are going back to these bad boys. :dodgy:

the more competition the better I say. Although, I can't take them too seriously with TonTon as their name though, it sounds like a candy or chocolate bar to me ha ha. same with upton187crew just sounds like a middle school club that has all your friends in it and you wanted a cool name for the club so you picked 187 crew

good to see the ton tons back.
The ultimate truth in paintball is that the interaction between the gun and the player is far and away the largest factor in accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

And yes, Gordon is the sexiest manifestation of "to the front."

Yeah these guys aren't bad

London Masters 2012. Beat Dynasty 5-2

They also finished 3rd last year in Millenium. Only loosing out to Dynasty, and Art Chaos(Moscow) which is basically made up of 1/2 Heat and 1/2 Red legion.

It really sucks that their aren't as many European teams that play in the states leagues as there used to be. I remember when teams like the London Tigers and Nexus, and both of the Ton Ton's older teams played in the NPPL quite a bit. They just don't seem to have the skill that more of the experienced US pro teams have, apart from the Russians of course. I hope they do well, but I'm sure there may be some type of learning curve for at least 1 season.

Paintball off seasons are getting more and more crazy. Russians are falling apart and Europe is invading the US. This is shaping up to be really interesting.

Dang, the offseason just keeps getting more and more insane. Looking forward to seeing how the Tonton's do in the PSP, it'll be nice to watch a new (to the PSP professional division) team play!
