Im getting new pants for 2013 and I cant decide between the 2012 Empire Contact vs Contact Zero or the HK Hardline pants. They all seem close in terms of durability but im not sure which one offers the best ventilation, mobility to play front, and durability to take 8 events plus a world cup.

Why not?

Empire by far. They are the most durable pants out there. HK soft goods aren't up to the standards of other companies yet, I've personally seen their pants and elbow pads ripped after little use.
Contact Zero are made to be lighter and better ventilated so those would likely be what you want to check out.

Empire makes heavily set pants, by that mean the padding is centered to wear u will slide/dive dye pants have padding which is very spread out and light. d try them on before hand though

Between contact and contact zeros, the contacts have better padding, and the contact zeros have more ventilation and are lighter.
