all depends on what you are spending! i'm assuming less than 500.

but just a few guns:
Etek3 LT's - roughly give/ take $350
AXES! i love these guns if you want new they're on the high end of $500, but used you can get one as low for $350 (i got one for 280, ha!)
Reflex Rail - i actually have one right now. my main shooter and i love it. you can get them $300-400

or you could go older, ego5 ego6 ego7 are cheap. sub $350 guns. and they all shoot dime on dime good.

or dm6/7 - my favorite spoolies. once again a sub $350 guns.

hopefully these are accurate enough. but go look through the B/S/T, there are tons of guns there. maybe hit up your local pro shop and test a few guns out if possible. find what you like, and get it! if you 've got more questions let me know!

I'd say the azodin blitz is definitely a good buy for the money, or a used dangerous power g3/g4 or an older supergun like stated above

Everything, save for the used supergun tip, does not help. Look into buying an Axe. If you cannot afford it, the GoG extcy is the best gun new under 300 dollars.
It runs off the reliable and slick shooting system as the Ion. Its a spool valve, which is probably the only one in that price range. It comes with an on off asa to prevent stripping tank threads and make it easier to put in the tank. It comes with a nice trigger, in a good shape, and a nice clamping feedneck, as well as a great regulator, which is the same one on the 1500$ supergun called the DLX Luxe.

Thank you guys for all the advices. Im really looking into the extcy but then i saw te envy and then saw how low used axe goes on BST here and it got me to reconsider. So i still dk which one to choose from. Also the pmr, valken proton, and proto rail
So i really dont know which one is better or to choose.

i think you're one the right track, but take it one step further. The only problem i have with marq's is that having a pressure tester is mandatory. you literally can't tech your gun without one. otherwise they are very reliable guns.
alias's from my experience with the 3 or so that i've had, was that they were very hard on paint and were always reliable. other people will tell you different, but i had 3 and that was my experience with all of them.

if you want an electro that you can throw in your bag after every practice, pull back out a week later, and it not only still work, but work after months and months of that, then you should go for an older ego.
no gun, to date, has been made that will be as rock solid as an 05/06 ego. there simply isnt one and thats coming from a guy who's owned pretty much any type of marker on the planet. They don't need upgrades, they don't need to be lubed every week, they dont need any pressure testers, and hell, you can lube the damn regulators with vaseline for god's sake.

anyways, thats just my suggestion. in my personal experience, ego's have always been the king's of reliability for me(while still being great in other categories like weight, shot quality, etc.)

Well the rail is meh. The Proton is crap. Pmr is ok I guess. But the extcy or axe would be the best way to go.

Is there any way you can go to your local field and shoot some first ? The gun shop closest to me always has guns around that you can handle and shoot to see what feels best, you can check the kick, how smooth the bolt moves, what feels good in your hands as far as balance.... any DM is good, i would not trust a PM or anything proto.. how about a mini ?

My theory with this is not only will it give him an amazing gun it will give him a marker that requires care and attention. New players should learn how to take care of their equipment its a sizable investment and IMO teching and caring for your marker is a huge part of the sport/hobby. I love my Alias and my marq shoots better than IMO most modern highends.

Although I have to dissagree with you on the EGO5/6 point, those markers although durable and great shooters have absolutely NO FACTORY SUPPORT from PE anymore. If you want an ego I would reccomend looking at either any Etek after the 2 or any Ego 8 or newer.

My first e-gun (other than a Spyder MR2, I don't count that one) was a 2005 Bob Long Alias. That thing never let me down and could easily keep up with the best of them. And I got it bone-stock and used for $235 about 3 or 4 years ago.

I agree with you 100%. There are no needed upgrades for the Etha. Straight out of the box and you are ready to go. It takes maybe 5 minutes tops to clean and lube.

The ETHA is an amazing marker. The only things I got for mine is the thumb screw for the feedneck and the 16" barrel tip. And those aren't need that was just out of personal choice. If I wind up keeping the marker I'm also gonna pick up the boost kit because I like to bore size my paint. But yes all in all there is absolutely no needed upgrades for the ETHA. Plus its a marker you will be able to keep forever.

I would probably try to buy a used gun off of BST. You can find great guns that are older for dirt cheap.

FOr $200 I would go with a used extcy or upgraded envy/vibe off the bst. You should have money left over. Its a solid marker for the price, and you cant go wrong with it.

For 200, you can get an up'd Shocker NXT off the BST. My friend just got one for 200; came with a Freak barrel and Virtue board. Definitely good bang for the buck.

Really think about what you really wanted? Good solid E-gun without needing upgrades and reliable. My suggestion is to save and dig deep and don't get in a hurry to spend your $200 on something that is not really what you want. Many suggestions have been given to you, but the best options are most likely going to cost you between 300 to 500 dollars. Buying to early before you have all the funds in place to give you some choice could be a big mistake.

Do you really need a gun today? Especially one that does not meet your stated desires.

Can you rent or use a friends gun for a while?

How much do you plan to play, can you wait a while, while you save some more.

Really think about this, once you have spent your 200 it is gone.

Take your time and look for a killer deal on a used gun, but in like the Extcy/Etha/Mini.

Do you have the Hopper, Tank, and googles already?

If not then a used package deal is what you need. That could take 3-400 with a decent gun in the package.

IMO new players, especially young players, should never buy pm or DM. They simply don't have the skill to maintain the marker properly.

Honestly, if you've only got $200 to spend on an electro. Don't get one. Because chances are you wont be able to afford a decent loader and tank to match. Wait longer and save money.

If you weren't a new player I would suggest a Shocker SFT, as they can be had cheap. But they require more gun knowledge than most.
