Rotors jam way to often. If Capacity is what makes a great loader, the Nokio wins.

Rotors jam way to often. If Capacity is what makes a great loader, the Nokio wins.

Not if you feed them good quality paint. It's like trying to get a Lambo and then trying to put unleaded in it, instead of premium. It just wasn't designed for crap paint. Unfortunately, a ton of paintballers try to get the cheapest paint possible, which doesn't work with a high end loader.

Often times field are the ones selling crappy paint. No fields around me sell rps premium, marbs, evil, gi 3-5 star, etc. Most of the time its lower end valken, stinger, or wrek elite.

I've only ever had problems with my rotor once and was at LL5. It was very humid and the paint was swollen, other then that I've never had a problem. Back to topic, why don't they make a smoke shell for the Z2?

Back to topic, why don't they make a smoke shell for the Z2?

Because they are not tournament legal.

And now they are basically selling V2 shells that you can put your Z2 internals in. I wonder if KEE would sell me Z2 internals that I can cram into my V2.

- Players may carry one hopper.
- Hoppers may not be covered by any absorbent or padded material.
- Hoppers are allowed to have one (1) 2 inch by 6 inch sticker on each side only. The
sticker may contain the colors Red, White, Blue, Gray, and Black.
Doesn't say anything about smoke or clear shells.

That really sucks to hear. Back when I lived in Illinois I had two main fields, Fox which is BYOP, so I used RPS Premium, and CPX, which is FPO but supplies Marbs. Guess I'm just spoiled. B)

I've put heat and infinity through my rotor without a problem, so I haven't experienced most people gripe about it. I also don't understand why people put such a huge value on a loader's capacity. That being said, people have been asking for this, so its good to see that they finally released a bigger shell.

Releasing the v2 shell that doesn't need modded in order to work with the z2, since some people are incapable of modding it themselves.

Im pretty sure its because they cant make the extremely durable plastic in the Rotor, Z2, and Spire transparent/translucent.

I believe the NPPL back in the day said you could not use clear or smoke(I may be wrong), and it seems like everyone thinks its still the same.

Until they get 50 and 100 round shells with a lower profile, the Z2 won't be the perfect loader.

when im just tinkering at my house and shooting to test stuff, i use the shit paint you get at walmart and i have NEVER had a jam...maybe the paint is always round and fresh but still no one ive ever talked to in real life has ever had rotor jamming issues either.

I've had my Rotor jam, I'll freely admit it. But the time I had it jam, I expected it too, and I honestly would've been surprised if it hadn't jammed. I was feeding it paint that had been sitting in a plastic grocery bag for like a year. It was shit paint to begin with, and hadn't gotten any better with age, and had lots of dimples and flat spots. And when it did jam, which it only did like three times during the day, I barely had to tug on the unjamming lever, and it immediately dislodged the jam and I was good to go. But the reason the Rotor jams is due to the design of it. You have to realize that the Rotor is a brand new design, it takes a bit to get the bugs worked out. The Z2 is a reworked Prophecy, which is a reworked Magna, which is a reworked Halo. It's relatively old technology that's been out for a while. And the Pinokio is reworked previous technology as well. To me it looks like a Revvy in a new shell, but others have told me it's something else.

Basically, the Rotor is brand new technology, and very rarely do they get it right the first time. Just make sure your paint is fresh, squishy, round, and fits underneath the spinning discs inside the Rotor, and you'll be good to go.
