i keep my barrel spotless, and as far as my field paint goes, it looks normal to me.
Accuracy depends on the cleanliness of your gun and the quality of paint.

That's a suprise
Well, not much u can do then. Stock barrel should be fine unless u want to match the bore of ur paint for better efficiency, but that comes at a cost to, higher chance of a break

For my Sp1 i have a CP 14" tactical barrel and thats a .685 bore and it works great.
Rhino is right though when its warmer and the paint swells a bit my cp barrel tends to break paint since its smaller and the ball is being forced through, you will get much better efficiency with bore matched paint I really saw that with my brothers old A5 w/ the straightline barrel (its rifled) and matching the backs to paint, didnt notica a huge differance in accuracy with the rifled barrel, should of spent the money on a barrel kit. And a5s are gas hogs but he had much better efficiency with matching the paint.
Have you looked at the tech T iFit kit? that maybe a route to go since the stock axe barrels are only 12" it would give you a 14" barrel and inserts to match the paint

The control bore on the ifit is too small to change anything.
try the TechT iFit Kit. Never really heard anything bad about it other than that the control bore isnt that long. But if you want consistency and efficiency its the cheapest way to go. For accuracy its most likely paint and dirt

Edit: The only reason to get an Empire Freak kit, is if you really want the Apex tip on a Freak barrel back.

DW barrels are alright, there is nothing wrong with them but they just don't have too long of a control bore.
here are some barrels that will be better then any freak insert style barrel
Disruptive, Flasc, Planet Eclipse shaft 4, Critical 100g, Redz pepperstick, Thin Air GNB and Lurker Eigenbarrel.
Any of these ^^ will have a longer control bore then the DW fibur and there for be better for consistency and efficiency (provided that your underboring)

Also the finish on the inside of Lapco barrels is unlike any other barrel Ive used. That being said, a barrel is a barrel, I'm just a Lapco fanboy, I love their products.

Cp 1 piece is cheap and amazing
I would recommend this, I've used ultralights, the sniper barrel kits, a cp one piece, and the stock axe barrel. They all shoot the same so just get the cp as it is still very nice while being the cheapest aftermarket barrel.

Hence, Disruptive Barrels.
I just want to say that the blind support you have for your sponsors is somewhat admirable, must mostly annoying.
Well, I heard from a guy that Disruptive barrels exploded as soon as you screwed them on.
Dont have a link. But I asked the dude. Ill try to get him to send legit email from him or something. Before I just assumed because they are to the same 6 micron finish and custom products is in upstate arizona, same as disruptive.
Do you see my point?
