I may have to send my 2k11 g6r to Bob long (illinois to California) to fix an ASA leak that i have tried to fix myself for the past week. How long should it take and how much should i expect to pay?

they are sometimes a little busy specially on Fridays, but when you get a hold of them, the Tech can walk you through step by step of any problems your having, if they can't help over the phone they will sometimes fix it for free, not always though, but my alias was having problems cycling past 8bps and they took the marker in and exchanged the ram out for free, but i did have to pay for shipping both ways so($30).

as long as they are not going through the gun you'll be fine, bob long is defintiely pricey when it comes to tech support and CS. i sent in two timmies a 2k6 infamous and an alias, the infamous had an o-ring pop out of it's groove and needed a new one. and the alias had a puncture in the body they needed to fill. ended up costing me $250. for literally rebuilding the guns with new o-rings and lubing them. granted they do great work it will cost you. though that's why we haven't sent the vic or the marq rapper we've been having issues with, because i really don't want to drop another $200 for some o-rings. we did take the vic to bjorn at LL5 he looked at it then said it would work, took it to the chrono and it was worse than before. been a nightmare ever since, it's been about 7 months since we got this vic it's been having issues. still not worth it to send it in imo.

they have great support, it's a small company and usually they fix guns pretty quick

obviously, if they are out of town for an event or something, it can delay

How you package up the gun makes a HUGE difference in how fast it's repaired. Sending them a gun without a letter obviously will delay your repair.

Calling them ahead of time, getting an RMA, and enclosing a letter than includes your name, shipping address, phone number, email address, and a detailed description of the problem goes a long way.

I talked to someone from bob long via email a while back.
They replied quick and got the problem sorted out through fast.
