I was wondering if there is any rules in mixing paint balls inside your hopper or pod?

Nope. Unless you're mixing in paint that a field doesn't allow or something like that.

In fact, some people do that on purpose in some situations, like a woodsball game, where they have a nicely brittle paint, and a tougher shell. That way, they're shooting both, so some has a chance to make it through brush and hit a person, or break on them when the harder stuff wouldn't.

I've seen people do it for a tracer like effect. I've watched people mix our deep purple Graffiti, with the red Fate that we sell.

ironmen used to do that/probably still do.
their pods were filled in alternated paint with black and silver shells. it would help them keep track of their stream of paint while shooting black shelled paint.

sometimes i like to mix 3 different shell colors cause it makes cool streams, also when I'm filming its easier to see the stream.
