This is my first post so my bad if I make any mistakes but I was wondering what gun I should pick up.
I don't care about efficiency I want a quiet smooth shooting gun and maintenance is not that big of a deal.

I would take the pm8 over the reflex . Even for a older gun the pm8 is still smoother than the new reflexes IMO because of the lpr. It allows for fine tuning so you can get a smoother shot where the reflex is an unbalanced spool with only one regulator. As for the axe I can't say since I've never shot or held one but I would imagine the pm8 would be as smooth of a shot if not smoother than an axe. PMs do require a lot of maintenance but you already said its not an issue then get a pm8 they are a lot cheaper than the other 2.

The PM8 by FAR The pm8 was the reason dye stop producing the PM series markers, they made the mistake of releasing the PM8 when the pm8 was basically a DM9 prototype.
It's a fantastic shooting gun and will shoot even better once tuned

Absolutely the pm8. PMs are really nice markers. The performance is that of a DM. Those new protos are cramp in comparison to the old ones.

had a pm8 for 2 years. It was almost as smooth as the luxe i own now, more reliable, and probably about the same weight maybe lighter. The marker feels wonderful in the hands and is very easy/simple to maintain even though you dont care about maintainence. Id recommend the marker to any baler on a budget.
