Bryce, are you there? Can you move the valve and bolt around a little for another photo? I'm just not seeing it properly from the glass image mockup.

nope, just collecting images from the web. It appears that they have the spool valve and bolt aligned in the last picture.

So, Is this supposed to operate like the traditional poppit? (Rammer hits Valve) or am I seeing some sort of stacked tube spool?

there are some better pictures on facebook, the "working prototype" that Bryce posted is what they called the "Mule", it's the first revision of the torque. They have like 3 different prototypes there I believe. The third revision looks amazing so far, and looks much more complete milling wise.

I hope with the simplicity of the marker it's not sitting over $1000. Great concept, but tossing on a steep price tag would be a huge turnoff.

Well he said in the PBE interviews that there would be different models, so probably different price tags with different options. I'll probably still get one anyway.

Lightweight and easy maintenance for sure. But also bulletproof reliability. If you watch the video he explains about the hall effect sensor that makes sure the gun fires even when extremely filthy.

On top of that it should be very quiet and smooth, with better efficiency as far as spools go.

Yeah but most poppers already produce more or less the same results? And it's a dump valve so the efficiency and quietness are called into question.

It does have a dump chamber, but if I'm not mistaken a lot of spool valve markers do. The dump chamber is shut off mechanically in this marker though, which is what sets it apart. Here:

Those internals and the description remind me of the Arrow Precision Sovereign? I'm sure that's a stacked tube spoolie thats works much the same as this?

Think of it as the an inbetween marker like a closed bolt poppit, it has a smoothness of a spoolie to a certain extent its not a shocker or finely tuned dm but its no ego. And it gets the efficiency of a poppit almost so it's no ego in that sense but it's not as bad as a shocker or dm. It could be the greatest thing ever for all around like an open bolt axe in a way.

I GIF'd it, and smoothed out the air transition in the gun, since the air would drain in the powertube during the shot.
