OK I really like the look and feel of the hyper3 on the dm's but I don't wanna buy a whole new reg to put on my PM8.

So my question is can I buy a DM hyper3 reg body for $30 and use my proto hyper3 internals? They should be the same right? That way I can use the NT reg sleeve.

I don't think you can buy the reg body, but I believe you can buy just the rubber piece.

I found out from dye that you can that's why I was asking about it. Just wanna make sure its possible to transfer the internals first.

Since they are both Hyper3, they should be the same internals, but it would be cheaper to just buy the rubber piece.

The proto hyper3 isn't a smooth round surface like the dye hyper so the grips won't fit on it unfortunately

Does anyone have a clear answer to this? The internals should be the same but does anyone know 100%

ask dye or see if you can see the internals of each, this should give you a good idea.

it should work, if they;re both hyper three's the internals will be identical.
I have a hyper three on my m7, but those came stock with hyper 2's. Super comfy regulators.

EDIT: Guys the proto hyper three IS NOT the same as the regular Hyper 3, so you cant just buy the rubber sleeve

Yes the rubber sleeve won't just fit over the proto hyper3. Got this directly from a DYE tech when asked about if the sleeve will fit:

"Not very well. It will fit over if you throw some lube on it, but it has different cuts on the proto reg than a flat surface like the H3 so it will be bulky."
