Just wondering what everyone thinks about the evolution of the dye matrix marker and which one has been your favorite. Keep in mind this is based SOLELY ON LOOKS and has nothing to do with performance.

Me personally, I like the DM11 a lot because it was the first to feature the new ultralite frame while still keeping a similar look to the older DMs

I feel this was right before they started using ugly milling and that big dye logo on the side of the DM12 and 13. Example:

I do miss the fades they used to do on the DMs. I wish they would bring them back

Finally I would like to add:

I know this isn't a DM but I love the look of the PM8 and its small compact size. Too bad they killed off the PM line

i would have to say that the DM8 was probably my favorite.
There are 2 kinds of people in this world. Those who think they can and those who think they can't. both of them are right.

I would have to say the NT11s or the dye cockers. I think the DMs are ugly, but man are they a good shooting marker.

If they'd throw a fade on the DM11, it would be my favorite, visually speaking.

My favorite has always been the shocktech dm5... if we wanna get get into original matrix' then I've always been fond of the trauma and the ironman milled ones.

DM11, DM9 and DM7.
All are simply beautiful.

I second that. DM11 probably the best for the same reasons as the OP.

I'm indifferent to the windows on the 12 and 13, although I like that they made them smaller. But that Dye logo is hideous.

I really like the old school Matixes more than the newer ones, but if we are talking all Dye guns, then I definitely prefer the Dye cockers.

If you were to ask me my favorite DM I would say either the DM11, or the DM9. The best looking is definitely the DM11 because of the shit ton of colours you could get them in!

Am I the only one that doesn't mind the larger Dye logo on the DM12/13s? Not to say I like it more, but its not terribly ugly...
