Hey everyone,
I just purchased my pump gun a year ago. It's a check it products v2 classic pump gun.

I've used it once, and after that it started leaking and I don't know how to fix it!

It's leaking out the barrel, but only when the gun id not cocked. Someone please help, I think it's the valve but my gun did not come with a manual or anything. An I looking in the right place, if so how do I fix it

When you say it only leaks when not cocked, do you mean when you air it up before cocking it, or does it leak after you shoot it but before you pump it again?

Cock it before you air it up. If that does not fix the leak it is either your reg pressure is too low, your tank output pressure is too low, or your valve spring is to weak. Try putting 1-2 drops of oil in the ASA before you air it up. that has fixed a couple of my previous leaks.

If your not running a low pressure tank that is out of the equation. If you are, try a different tank.

Then try upping your reg pressure until the leak goes away.

If that does not work, you need a harder valve spring or a lighter hammer spring. Or your valve o-ring is torn.

I air it up after I cock it, but it leaks right after I shoot. However when I chamber another ball (cock it) the leak goes away again until I pull the trigger and shoot.

@Fytox, i'm using a ninja tank so I might try to use a different one.
Thanks for all the suggestions of where to look. I'm kind of a noob when it comes to actually fixing a pump gun. I'll post the results of what I did, just in case someone has the same problem.
If anyone has any other ideas i'm all ears.

Operating pressure too low for your mainspring pressure. Raise pressure or lower mainspring tension
