So I'm getting married in October, and up to this point I've gotten along really well with my fiances parents, but lately her mom will not shut up about the wedding, like literally none stop. Which I could live with, her little girl is getting married and she wants to be involved. However in the last two weeks she has let details about my fiance's dress slip up. Which REALLY pisses me off, the single most exciting part (other than the sex ;) ) of my wedding was going to be the surprise of seeing my beautiful bride in her dress for the first time, but now I've got an idea of what she will look like because her God damn mother wont stop talking about it!

It's actually left me feeling incredibly disappointed, I know this isn't a big deal to some people and might think I'm being a bit weird, but I honestly feel like I've been robbed of that special moment because of my mother in-law, which is a moment I only ever planned on having once.

Anyways, that's my rant.

The ultimate truth in paintball is that the interaction between the gun and the player is far and away the largest factor in accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

So man up and talk to her mom. Tell her how you feel, tell her why it's important, and tell her you want to be left out of the conversation because it's a very important surprise for you that you want to cherish. Talking to us won't get her to shut up, but sitting her down and explaining what you want done, why you want it done, and how important it is to you, just might get her to shut up.

Haha we have talked to her on multiple occasions about her intensity with the wedding. Posting a rant here doesn't mean its not being handled in real life.

This is the thing to do. I'm sure she will understand if you explain it as you did in the OP. Hopefully she will see how important that moment is to you, and respect that.

Shit in your mother-in-law.

FIFY, and made it a lot more odd in the process. The power of one vowel, people.

At least your actual mother in law didn't try to give away your dog. And called you a bad husband because you sent your wife to love in another state to save money while you finish up your military contract, and call your marriage a sham..

He was referring to your misspelling of "live" but 2700 a month sounds solid to me.

$2700 a month is barely minimum wage. How does it sound solid?

No no, that's how much I'm saving, after all my bills and such. And I realized that later Young, there is a reason I shouldn't post at 1am.

$2700 a month is way more than minimum wage. Minimum wage is like $7.50, which is only $1200 a month for 40 hours a week, and you don't even get to take that home, because of taxes. So $2700, even before bills and such, is definitely way more than barely minimum wage.

I have a good idea.

Stick 100's of plastic forks, knives and spoons in her lawn. It's harmless and it pisses them off every time :)

Or you could be that ass and pour bleach and rock salt on her lawn too

Minimum wage in Canada is $10.50 or something around that. So making $2700 a month is just over $16 an hour.
And I made a mistake, I meant barely over minimum wage.
