This may sound stupid, but I am wondering if I tank an LP tank reg off of a ninja and put it on a crossfire would it be ok? I am looking at a v1 vic that comes with a 50/45 low pressure but I love my 68/45 crossfire and want to know if it will be fine to switch the regs on them up as my friend is looking for a 50/45 so he could just buy that off of me

It's fine. The tank is just a tank so it really won't have any effect on how the reg does it's job. I've taken regs off of cheap steel tanks to replace a bad reg on a fiber tank with no problem. Can you get a low pressure kit for your crossfire? I was looking at buying one off ansgear and they had an option for a lp kit so I could change it.

I already own the crossfire possibly buying this gun used and he won't part gun from tank so no point in buying a new lp reg if I have to get one

Regs and tanks use the same threads between manufacturers, so they are interchangable.

No it's a spring kit that will convert the crossfire reg that is already on the tank to lp

Still no point in buying it, the guy won't part the SLP.

Depends. Were it me I'd keep the crossfire reg on the bottle, change the spring, and sell the Ninja. If OP gets or has another marker that needs a HP he only has to change the spring to use his beloved 45/68. He also doesn't have to hassle with breaking the regs loose and recoups part of his money for the gun.

$10 to make his tank adjustable isn't bad, and he doesn't have that option with the SLP as far as I know. But this is just my opinion.
