...I should point out, most of the BL markers are setup for all-purpose use out of the box. After tuning, I'm certain it's possible to get 10 pods off a 45/45.

At least having no LPR means it's one less thing for all the anti Bob Long whiners to bitch about.

No, more efficient but not as smooth. Its apparently like a very efficient Geo 2/3.

So ten pods with a 45/4500
thats 202,500 pounds of pressure roughly
10 pods is approximately 1400 paintballs
soo thats around 145 lbs of force per ball...
looks like it should get around 2,100 balls off a 68/45 filled to 4500psi,
which in pods is around 15 pods
Yeah, I took algebra

Edit: Just realized that's more than a full case from a spool... and the new ego doesn't even do that..., I don't think even the impulse does that either...

very low maintenance compared to other guns Bob has put out due to not having an lpr. Not having to pressure test it will also be a plus to a lot of people. Boring milling? It's a hell of a lot more original than the geo, luxe, clones (not saying they're ugly) Those are very simplistic in comparison, very few "lines."

Simple milling is a lot better than that ripper Victory rubbish and all those hideous G6R models.

The more I look at this the more I want it. I might sell both my Ego11 and my Shocktech SFT now just got get one of these. Holy fuck, I want a Bob Long marker again.

To me bob longs' spools are a completely different type of spool. There's your matrix's, your dump valves and then there's bob longs. They're very strange but super efficient and i love the milling on the victory's and this insight is looking pretty good too.

From what I've seen, Bob's new spools are in fact most closely related to DMs, except the sail is on the tail instead of around the front.

The ultimate truth in paintball is that the interaction between the gun and the player is far and away the largest factor in accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

And yes, Gordon is the sexiest manifestation of "to the front."

I wonder if Bob Long Technologies has a wedding registry program

I was contemplating the same thing!
"We used to tell them in Outward Bound, when a parent would come and ask us, ["Can you guarantee the safety of our son, Johnny?"] And finally we decided to meet it head-on. We would say, ["No. We certainly can't Ma'am. We guarantee you the genuine chance of his death. And if we could guarantee his safety, the program would not be worth running. We do make one guarantee, as one parent to another. If you succeed in protecting your boy, as you are doing now, and as its your motherly duty to do, you know we applaud your watch dog tenacity. You should be protecting him. But, if you succeed, we guarantee you the death of his soul!"]" -Unsoeld

i was thinking the same thing. its hard to beat into someones head that just because its not an exposed bolt stack tube, that doesnt mean its a spool. i argued with some 14 year old kid for 20 minutes because he insisted that my angel g7 fly was a spool. even after i spun my roto breach and showed him the poppet!

I don't think he was shooting the hopper empty every time before he grabbed the next pod, some of them seemed to be faster than others.

I don't care about the efficiency to be honest. Bob's efficiency tests are pretty shady.
But it's a BL gun with no LPR, that's a pretty cool concept.

While I do agree that sometimes his efficiency tests are kinda shady, I like that he will make a video backing up his claims. We know he tuned the hell out of that G6R to get 20 pods, but without an LPR on this there isn't a lot of tuning you can do.
