I have to say that this game is fun as hell as long as you mute the chat.

I don't know what is going on, but it captures some of the magic of BC2 that BF3 is so sorely lacking.

Even playing BF3 with friends was sometimes a chore but even if its a shitty day COD can be fun
Stop worrying about how you look, and start worrying about how you play. Get out on the field and play paintball the best you can, not stand at home in front of a mirror trying to figure out if your jersey matches your eyes.

Barely. Id rather have a 1.00 KD jumping for every objective running UAV, hunter killer, Counter UAV, hell storm or lightning then a 2.00 KD all star trying to get his Vsat.

KD is useless. I have a 1.3, what does that say about me? You can only speculate. I could make a new gamertag and sit in the garage of nuketown on domination. by the end of a match I could have a 5.00 KD, but no captures, defends, im not tossing EMP,s at common camp areas or shooting down opponents score streaks.

its a give and take. there are 0.8 KD,s that have 5X as many flag captures, zone sweeps, bombs planted and diffused then me or you at a higher KD.
shit the other day I saw a master prestige at a 0.9 KD i laughed at what I thought was a super nerd, only to watch him score 18 flag captures on a domination game. and the next game was hard point. the dude had like 20 hard point captures.

Id take him over me any day!

I like tho objectives, dom, hard point ect keeps the game moving

deathmatch ani kill confirmed can become infuriating when tho spawns keep switching and someone spawns half way up your asshole for an easy kill.

Wow my scores just shot up, I discovered the Flak Jacket. Now I can plant bombs while laughing at your weak little semtex charges!

I also tried out some new modes: Domination might be my new favorite mode, and Hardpoint is cool but frustrating when your team can't coordinate.

Never play alone dude, your going to get wrecked. having at least 1 team mate can change the entire game.

if your still experimenting with class set-up's heres a quick and dirty of the good stuff.

Tier 1 perks
- Flak jacket is beast. anytime you play a objective based game, flak jacket is a must!!
- Ghost is good for classes where your constantly moving staying of uav is awesome in most modes.
(lightweight, hardline are no where near as powerful, even at a swarm hardline is only 2 less kills. totally pointless.. lightweight gets you killed from guys camping while you have to stop and then aim)

tier 2
- toughness this thing can save your gunfights over and over again, when you get shot your view doesnt kick, aim is not disrupted. AWESOME for anyone
- scavenger powerful perk for anyone who doesnt get up in the shit. if your hitting objectives, scavanger is outclasses by toughness and fast hands
- fast hands -> surprisingly useful allows super fast weapon swaps and toss flashes like a boss.
(hardwired is this games most useless perk, unless your constantly being EMP'd skip over)

tier 3
- Tactical mask - PURE WIN. tac mask is probably THE most powerful tier 3 perk, total immunity to shock charges, flash bangs, concussions. makes life alot easier. paired with flac jacket gives great objective holding results.

- dexterity -> when you aim down sights, your bullets dont hit that center pixel for about 0.5(s) after the animation, this means when you "snap" to aim your bullets still follow the same spread as a hipfire box, Bull shit? i think so. dexterity speeds up the time your hipfire spread concentrates into your aiming reticule.

as far as attachments go,

fast mags > extended mags (extended mags increase reload time by 20-35% fast mags dont)
quick draw is always a awesome attachment. put it on for good results.

also grenades have a much larger blast radius then symtex.

Great info, I have been searching for this kind of stuff but it's hard to find, or it's buried in forums. I think I will experiment with fast hands soon, I had always taken toughness up til now. I agree that tac mask is way to useful to go without. The CoD wikia is amazingly devoid of actual figures.

I did have extremely good results with extended mags on the M27, but I did not know that they slowed reload times. An extended mag on an AR feels almost bottomless.

As far as SMGs go, the MP7 has been working so well I am almost afraid to spend unlock tokens on anything else.

How about Black Hat, how has that been for you?

I run a m27 and treat it like a SMG and works out great.
I use

Hardline
Scavenger
Tactical Mask
Primary Gunfighter
M27
Suppressor
Quick Draw Handle
Adjustable Stock
C4
B23R

The mobility of a SMG but the range of a Assault rifle. My go to class for all maps.

I just go o nand have fun. I'm an objective person myself, I'll plant bombs, capture flags, defend hard points, whatever it takes to win the game.

My personal favorite set up is either my M27 load out, or my MSMC SMG Suppressed load out.

I tried BO2 zombies once and hated it. I played zombies in BO1 until I found out that the whole point was to make weird weapons with weird vending machines. Then I gave it up. It's basically the opposite of what I am looking for in a zombie game.

I think I prefer the mk48 over the LSAT. I seem to be much more effective with it. It certainly packs a punch. It is extremely fun hosing down an area eith an LMG in this game.

I gotta hand it to the developers that the starting guns are quite good. Except maybe the sniper rifle, but I never use those anyway.

Again, it reminds me of BC2.

LOL

the SVU is one of the best weapons in the game for a vast majority of game types.
try playing with it, Dont go for headshots, just fire two shots to the chest.
when you gut the acog, try playing with just one attachment (silencer or fast mags are great if you want 2) and load up on perks, scavenger, ghost, dexterity ect ect.
get to high traffic areas and spam.

I will have to try that. I have to say that I am a terrible sniper in this game so my opinion of sniper rifles is worth very little. I used to love the SVU in BC2 as it allowed you to actually be useful and play the objectives.

Hipfiring a laser sight-equipped Mk 48 out the back door of the gym on highjacked and racking up a quad feed, while covering a bomb plant, now that's fun.

Triggering my first VSAT ever one second before the round ends, not so much.

Im really digging arms race, im usually getting two stealth choppers a game and most of the time my loadstar as well. Definitely makes TDM fun now but they need to up the kill count to at least 100, even 125 would be fun and the games would go pretty fast as well.

I need to give Arms Race a try. I'm not usually a fan of TDM though.

I think I am gonna wait to prestige this time and try out some of these high-level equipment and perks. I am really liking Tac Inserts, but Ghost seems useful as well. But I need flak jacket, too. I don't know what to spend my next token on. Decisions, Decisons.

I have hit third prestige now, and my unlocks have been (in order):
AN-94 (my best weapon by far)
Tac Insert (because I like objective games)
Scavenger (because resupplying rockets, smokes, and grenades makes me smile)

I almost went for flak jacket, but there is a chart that shows that level 30 is only like 25%of the way through a prestige, so you don't miss it for long.

I guess if you were really stat-obsessed AND you were a noob when you started playing BO2, you could wipe your stats so you look better to other stat-obsessives? Or maybe you are a prestige master but you can't stand to play a game where you aren't advancing some little progress bar? Mental illness has to be involved when choosing the stat-wipe "reward".

The refund tokens thing could be useful if your little brother logged on and unlocked a bunch of crap? Or maybe you were drunk and decided to get every scorestreak? Yeah that's really stretching.

^^ pretty much,

personally I'd like to see "prestige" mode like in the older call of duties.
you should be able to have everything unlocked in the game at 0 prestige at the final level.

As you prestige you then receive less tokens, and have your top equipment permanently locked (ie take the weapon with the most kills and lock it, or the equipment that has the most uses)
and continue to challenge the player into using different weapons and different load outs, and then when you hit the final prestige, everything is then unlocked again.

presitge should not be about going through a grind again just to have 1 more thing unlocked by level 55. thats not the point at all.

Yea but that just puts a huge con on the "pros and cons" chart of prestiging. I remember in mw3 I stopped prestiging because I just found it more fun to earn a bunch of gold guns than lose them constantly. That's what I like about black ops 2, you keep camos.

Thats fine keep the camo's, but presitiging as about challenging yourself. doing it all over again, starting from the worse of the weaponry.
I like how camo's and attachments are not lost. But I think that your should not have to prestige 10 times to unlock everything

I think the idea of taking a handicap when you prestige is an interesting one. It would be really challenging if by the 5th tier, you have lost your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd string weapons and are forced to use stuff way outside of your comfort zone.

One thing that makes prestiging a no-brainer is the fact that the level 4 weapons are some of my favorites (and apparently everyone else's too). The PDW, Mk 48, 870, and SVU are all standout weapons.

finally did the whole prestige master... God so much wasted time lol.

Screwing around with the iron sight ballista.
I'm terrible with it lmao. I can sometimes get awesome shots and it makes me look pro.
most of the time I just miss my first shot and promptly get owned.
