Look for a nice barrel for my axe. Btw the super freak kit i might pick up is BNIB and for 125 shipped. I think the Fibur with two inserts is like 115. Any advice or even opinions would be appreciated.

Depends.
Do you want a carbon fiber barrel?
Or do you want a barrel with numerous options but not as light as a carbon fiber?
I would go for the Super Freak, however, especially with the price you're getting one for.

Then go with the Super Freak. Paint matching I hope you mean as finding the size if the paint so you can overbore or underbore.

Definitely go with the deadlywind it is way better. It is lighter and cheaper for the whole set. Ive used both and I own a deadlywind fibur and that thing allows me to shoot lasers. Also the deadlywind is way way lighter.

If you want to be on a team and are in the Chicagoland area pm me.

It isn't really "better" in this situation. The freak has all the barrel inserts, whereas the deadly wind only has two. Plus, a barrel won't really affect your ability to "shoot lasers". In general all barrels are equal in accuracy and range because most of them don't affect either of these factors.

And as far as carbon fiber goes the last time I checked the super freak kit comes with 3 tips. A metal 14" tip a cf 14" and an apex2 tip. Along with 5 inserts.

Deadly wind. It is just better. I mean on one side you have the Empire system which I won't lie is pretty good, but on the other side you have a lightweight barrel, and a barrel that can thread into any gun. Both systems utilize freak insets but the deadly wind cost's less. You don't need EVERY insert not many paints at all bore in the .690's so what is the point of having more than one insert that size? With the deadly wind you buy what you need when you buy the barrel one super underbore, one underbore, and an overbore, now you're set.
I would get the deadlywind for these reasons

Only the fibur x threads into all guns, but my vote goes super freak, better value at that price I think.

wound up getting a stiffi tip with three ul backs for $70. looks good cant wait to use it. thanks for all your advice though, I really wanted the deadly winds but just couldnt justify 100+ for a barrel haha

They will shoot the same, get the one that looks and feels best to you.

Personally, I am a big fan of Deadlywind barrels. Colin make a great barrel that looks and works great. I also prefer the “one piece” barrel with inserts. It is stronger, does not come loose and does not have all the nooks and crannies that get dirty and are hard to keep clean , out on the field.

Good Luck!

if you play any sort of Scenario/woodsball I would definitely pick up the Super Freak kit. Since it comes with a Great Barrel kit and the Apex, you'd be set for life.
