I have tried on the empire E-Flex and it was okay, everyone says the i4 is the best for smaller heads, I am not exactly small headed but I really want a nice new mask since my team has a tournament in a month and we need to start preparing

Keep in mind money is not an issue

And my V-force Grill just broke, it was pretty nice too, I might even consider getting another one of those

Buy one of these if you want a cheap but nice electro!!!

I would highly recommend the eflexes over the I4s. As a side bonus you can put any proflex bottoms on it for added customization.

E-Flex. When you actually play in them and realize how much easier it is to communicate and breathe you'll love them. Grillz are very nice too but Id suggest trying out the flexes.

I own the eflex and my friend lets me use his de i4s all the time. So if u want breatheablitiy go with the eflexs, if u want a smaller profile go with the i4s, and the communication factor of both is the same.

If you want to be on a team and are in the Chicagoland area pm me.

get the e flexs, they are very comfortable and they fit you no matter what, you will be really happy in the end. (and they are very breathable)

Not to thread jack, but eflex owners: what's it like to get hit in the lower section of the mask? I like the idea of getting more bounces from the soft section, but does the mask come back and hit you from the force of the paintball?

No it doesn't, the eflex bottoms are stiffer than normal flex bottoms.

That's good to hear, because the prospect of getting a fat lip when I get hit in the mask wouldn't be very attractive. Thanks for the reply.

Even with normal Flex's it's not bad. I don't have an eflex but if it's stiffer you should be fine. Only time my flex's didn't protect my jaw was when I was bunkering someone and they shot from a kneeling position while I was standing. First shot folded it back and the next 2 hit my chin. I feel it was all the angle though, any other mask the balls would have just gone under the side, still would've hit my chin.

They are firmer than the original flex bottoms and do reduce the force of a shot to the face by a large amount.

That sounds nice and painful.
I really only asked because my proto switch ain't doing the trick for when I catch one to the mouth. Last time I played I got a fat lip twice.

Again, thanks everyone for the reassurance. I think I'll pick a pair up this weekend.

I've had i4s profits and e flex and I LOVE my i4s nice and tight to my face the vision is phenomenal. The profits echo a tiny bit but that's tue ear pieces and yes the eflexs were great but I loved the fit of the i4s.

^ I can't stand i4's, but that's because I have a big head. I feel like I'm just asking to get shot directly in the teeth with how small they are.

Call/e-mail Empire. There is no reason brand new thermal lenses should fog.

Dunno why but my first EFlex fogged BADLY at first but the issue was due to my toque and vflector combo which blocked air flow badly. My new pair works fine. Just try to wear more breathable head gear.

to OP:
Those 3 masks are GREAT. Eflexes works great, i4 I borrowed once was pretty sweet, and my Grill was just amazing. Honestly cannot go wrong with any of those

I did remove the blue tape. Just wondering why a 100$ + mask would fog. Never had problems with my i4s or pro flex.

Is there any separation of the gasket between the two panes? Seriously though, I would highly suggest contacting Empire, they will get you sorted out.
