Another week of holding steady. Lots of food on Thursday and Saturday night. 208 again, but I was down to 202 after ym half marathon. I'm shooting for 199-200 at the end of this week.

OK so here is my problem i am at 290, i run (not all the time) play paintball and try to be active, but the weight isnt coming off. I dont eat the best but i have made a lot of changes to my eating habits. I have ran 4 5k's this year, i run twice a week but it stil wiegh around 285 to 290. Now my friends say it coming off but the scale isnt showing it. What do you guys think more running or do i need to refine my diet even more?
I used to eat pretty healthy a good portion of the time and workout and not be able to lose weight. I had to look at what I was eating harder and clean it up even more. I now basically eat the same meals 6 days a week (I mix the proteins but always lean proteins) and on Saturday eat what I want within reason. I would look at your diet and clean it up, and maybe run a little more but add some weights to it as well.

I'm giving you guys an update a day early, because I have a party to be at today, and I work all day tomorrow, and I might be too tired to post remember to post tomorrow. This week has been great. I've been under 200 a couple of times after finishing my run, and woke up at 204 today. I also got another half marathon in on Thursday (2:02:30) after working for almost 12 hours with about 10 of those hours being on my feet. I also ran 5 miles in 41:01. My next goal is to run a half in under 2 hours and 5 miles under 40 minutes. I have a friend that is an ARMY Ranger, and he said that the running requirement for them is 5 miles at an 8 minute pace, and there's a bunch of them who can't do it. It'll be awesome to accomplish something that Soldiers in top shape can't do.
Oh yeah!! I also want to get 200 miles in July. I am on a pretty good pace to get that, 107 miles so far, and it's only 6:45 on July 13.

I was around 204-206 early on in the week moving on to about 202. I've been down to 197, but that was right after a run.
I achieved my 5 mile time, clocking 39:14 tonight. 21.2 miles left to go to get to 200 in July.

This is going to sound weird, but I weighed in at 205 tonight, and I'm extremely happy with that. I ate like crap today; I had a huge BLT and fries for lunch and a burger with tater tots for dinner, and I'm only at 205. It's crazy how sometimes your body responds to a different stimulus in a different way. Oh, and I didn't run yet today. I'm about to go out for a few miles.

Just under 205 again tonight. I'm thinking that 205 is where I'm going to settle until I start lifting and packing on muscle. I logged 266 miles in July. I'm planning on just doing 150 or so miles in August, around 5 miles per day.

Be careful with running. This may sound weird but if you don't run properly then you may end up injuring yourself. My Jr. high math teacher used to run 5+ miles a day then one day he pinched a nerve in his neck and his doctors blamed it on be 'technique'.

Thanks! It's still weird every once and a while when I see my reflection or a picture. My sister posted a picture on FB last weekend, and I didn't look at all like my self, if that makes any sense.

Dude you're an HUGE inspiration to many including myself.
I'm not big in any way I've been told but as most teens my age have that fear that they are not the fittest and baddest.
So I've layed off working out for 3+ weeks,time to kick it back in action!
You doubt it but yet you don't know crap about it.... People may THINK they know me, but trust me they DON'T.

This week was full of ups and downs. Monday, I was all the way up to 208 after a day of indulgence, then by Friday after my run, I was down to 195. Tonight, even after eating pizza and a bunch of crap while watching Summerslam, 205. I'm sure I'll be back under 200 after my workout tomorrow.

still right around 205. I lifted on Wednesday. Shoulders. I went way too hard. My elbows were/are swollen and my biceps are still sore 5 days later. I went back today and hit the legs. My legs feel just fine even after squats and lunges.

Been over a month since I checked in. I finally started lifting 2 weeks ago. Since then, I have gone up to about 212. I don't think my Halloween candy binge has halped that. I've been going to the gym 6 times a week alternating between chest/shoulders/tris and legs/back/bis. Cardio every time I hit the gym, at least a mile. Usually more on chest days, depending on how I'm feeling.

Around 212 still, but more muscle is starting to show. I'm keeping up in the gym 6 or 7 times a week. I have less work-work now, so I can hit the gym everyday. I've cut back really far on running, and turned to the stair master instead. I'm on there for a minimum of 1 mile according to the machine. The longest I've gone is 3 miles in just over 21 minutes.

That won't happen. I love my legs too much to neglect them. Any time it's Chest/Shoulders/Tris, I feel like one of the 90% of guys that skip leg day, eventhough every other day is leg day.

Little post Christmas update: I've been around 214-15 waking up most days lately. Today was no different, even though I ate like an ass the past 2 days, and also skipped the gym. I should start back up today.

February was a tough month. I got down to 210 at one point, but I started drinking protein shakes again, and I am now around 220. I have added a lot of strength. I started doing squats and deadlifts once or twice a week. I got 275 up once on deadlift after doing 5 sets of 10 at 205. I also got 100 on db bench for 3 after doing 95 for 2 sets of 10.
