Title says it all curious how many here find stuff they like and stick with it.

Personally I have had my Tippmann Pro/Carbine for 14 years now. Through thick and thin it's always served me well and still brings a smile to my face when I decide to take it out (don't use it too often anymore cause I have newer stuff that serves the same purpose but I will never sell it).

Posted Image

And My AGD 68 AutoMag has been with me almost 14 years as well (purchased 6 months after the carbine). Was my first so call "speedball" marker and served in that role as my primary speedball setup up until couple years ago. It's been used in sooo many different configurations and had so many upgrades it eventually spawned my current RT ULE Mag I now use. So it's back in nearly the same form as when I bought it new back in 1999.

Had my one of my 98 Customs for nearly 8 years.

Seems like the only gun I have ever touched that I kept for over a year was a Tippmann.

Edit: By now I bet you can do finger push ups with how heavy that trigger pull is on that carbine, they are rated at what? like 9lbs?

I still own my first marker, just because i could only get $25 if i sold it.
A Pursuit Combat Systems US5 marker.
Basically an A5 minus the cyclone feed and tippmann name.
I got it from a proshop store for $75 about 5 years ago and I got a free membership with it.
This was a great deal because a membership itself normally cost $75 so I pretty much got a gun for free.
And when your field (at the time) sold paint for $40 per bag to nonmembers, you needed to have a membership.

Lol yeah stock they were 8 or 9 lbs. But mine has a lighter spring I took off a school buss door handle I replaced at work lol. Was all apart and I was like hey this looks like it would fit my Carbine and its been in there since lol. Works well enuff I suppose. I mean its prolly pretty heavy still compared to most but you really don't notice it in game.

Owned, or in common usage?

I still have my first marker, a piranha. It's 10 years old now. I haven't used it as a main gun in longer than I can remember.

The longest running primary for me was my Viking. I got it at the end of 2004, and it was my primary semi until the middle of last year. Great marker, but hard to service outside of basic lube. And it's heavy. And three tubes instead of 1 or 2.

The longest I have owned a single gun was my PMR for about a year. The only reason is that I started out with a couple hundred for a gun,and have bought and sold many cocker pumps with that "same" money.

I hope my Quest will stay around longer than that. I want to love it, but I also want to love all the high end guns

The SplatMaster I bought in 1988 is still going strong.
I replaced the springs in 2003, but otherwise all original.

So 25 years with one marker I still use.

I bought my Alias shortly before I graduated high school and still have it tucked away in storage.
So about 3 years. I've thought about selling it, but just never seem to get around to doing so.

My oldest gun has been the Tippmann A5, have had it for almost 8 years now and an X7 for 5. Bought the A5 because it was rumored to be like the AK-47 of paintball markers. Not that hard to maintain and handles pretty well through grime, dirt, and other bad conditions. =)

Although I'm starting to turn into a hoarder. =( Paintball is both a fun way to workout/do outdoorsy things but also a terrible money suck. :D
