Sucks man, you just missed SPEW III (Spring Pump Event West). I drove from Vegas to it for 3 days of pump only goodness.

Check out FEW when it comes around in the fall.

There is a Limited paint game coming up at SC village in a week or two. Not sure of the dates though.

Bakersfield CA at Poso Creek Paintball. We only ever SPEW in one place (Same for FEW), we had like 48-60 people this time and it was a blast. There were plenty of people playing airball and I got some great action shots. I was even lucky enough to have a photographer take some pictures of me!

I can't wait for my next 3 day camping adventure.

I'v never played anywhere else in CA since I live in Vegas, Sc looks nice but everyone I'v talked to says to go there with a group. So If I ever go I'll be with a group from MCB.

Hollywood Sports looks fun, but its rather far lol.

i wouldn't really recommend going to hsp if it's a bit of a drive. sure the walk-on fields are really nice but they don't have airball and they only have one hyperball. also, some of the players with electros can be dicks but all the pumpers I've talked to there are very friendly & there are a lot of pumpers that go there now.
if you ever do consider making the trip, be sure to go on a friday if possible. fridays are outside paint days & the games seem to be more full. the deals are real nice too, i remember spending $7 for the whole day once. i just payed for the $7 ticket which you can get at Time 2 Paintball in cerritos, and a bag of paint and all day air was free for the day. SCORE!

There is a field in Pahrump that is about an hour drive from Vegas that is fantastic. My buddy and I paid 5 dollars each for entry and all day air. Played for about 9 hours lol. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me, It was well worth the 50 minute drive from my house.

That's not half bad man. I really like it.

Think you could draw me in the commanders hatch of a Panzer IV holding a nerf sword in my left hand and a KP3 in the other, with a speech bubble saying "Drive me closer, I want to hit them with my sword!"?

I'm just joking but that would be a pretty sweet drawing.

Oh good god. You have made my day man. I thought the Action Ghillie I got today was sweet but this takes the cake. Would I have your permission to post this to my Facebook giving you proper credit?

If we ever meet in real life I will buy you lunch, let me know if your ever playing or stopping by in Vegas.

I think they hold one of the finals here for one of the leauges. I know I saw a "Pro" video that showed a bunch of people playing/ checking out Freemont street. One of the Local places, LVPP/Club Splat, is starting to host a tournament every week I think.

I'm not one for that but I do enjoy sitting down and watching the locals play ever now and again in-between games. Its interesting to see the different mindsets that they have from Rec/walk on players.

Pump is the only thing I play lol. No point in scaring the Newbies, Although most of them think my Bolt action KP3 is some kind of 1337 5N1P3r.

On a side note I got my mystery box today.Paid $60 for it and it contained:

A beat to shit I4 (Will require new foam and ears) Came with a mirrored lens in perfect shape and an amber lens as well as bags for both. Also came with a lens protector thing.
A set of Dye Elbow pads (Needed some for a while now)
A set of Dye Gloves (Nice but I'll stick with my football gloves.)
A Dye branded slider short. (Diggin it, needed some knee pads too.)
and A headband with a suede material.

Pretty good deal if you ask me, It'll be $40 to fix the mask up but it seems very nice. I can't wait to test it out!

I play on occasion in the LA area. I went to the First Conserve and Conquer and it was a blast, great group of guys. Try to get in touch with Mark (Henchman on MCB)because he organises it along with TinMan and a few other guys. I play out at Warped sports when ever I can, Hit me up if you wanta go.

Warped is out in santa clarita, 10 mins past magic mountain. SC village (were Conserve and Conquer is held) is in the other direction. Both fields have very different feels. Warped is small and friendly, while SC is bustling with people. Again, hit me up, I think i'll be at either one in like 2 weeks. We can split paint or whatever.

have you been to the ranch in Whittier? thats my second closest field so i'll have to give it a try sometime. would you be down to go to hsp sometime? warped is a little far for me and so is sc but should be worth the drive once i get my project car back together.
btw, i'm leaving to texas and coming back about the 20th. Juice16 and i are planning to go to hsp when i get back should be a fun time! he says he doesnt play pump but he'd be down to try, you should def think about coming out with us

The last time i went on a saturday and it was pretty fun. more rentals go there on saturdays so its a blast lol and i'm really loving the fact that more and more pumpers are going there. i just really miss those times when there was AT LEAST 40 on 40 on a walk on that was about 3-4 years ago but now that its not, it gives you the chance to be more sneakier. what was it like on thursdays? i know fridays are outside paint days but i hate the hours on weekdays

Oh this is an ugly duckling S5, Someone did a half assed eye job on it. It also no longer a has sexy CCM bolt and frame, but WGP crap.I got it for cheap and it needs some love. I plan to:
Throw a CCM 45 frame on it (thick)
Nice ASA
Lurker 14 inch barrel
Laser engrave (i know a guy)
CCM bolt
CCM auto trigger
Some sort of Eye Patch
AKA Reg

I'm going for a blacked out utilitarian build, with art work biased of the lore surrounding Odin's ravens, Huginn and Muginn.

Anyways I need to get back into pump. But with an autotrigger, because I have a spire that needs to be used.

ThosePumpGuyz have been having monthly private pump-only groups @ Pendleton for a while now. I just put up a post for the next one.

San Diego TPG Pump Day - June 23rd @ Camp Pendleton, CA

I'll try to continue posting these on a monthly basis. It's a little cheaper to pre-pay, but feel free to just come out!

Yeah, I got it of MCB, but I'm sure its the same gun. It was/is drilled and it's pretty ugly, threw some sharpie on it to keep the scratches from sicking out so much. That being said, it's super smooth. A ccm frame and auto trigger are gonna happen sooner or later. It does have CCM lowers and I am currently attempting to sell the barrel, frame, beavertail, and lapco bore sizers.

As far as how much I paid, I traded my upped kaos pump and added 80 bucks. Probably total value of about 230, but then again, this gun had a really bad eye hole which uglied up the body. Depending on it's condition I would say you could get anywhere from 375-550 for a J2 as a nice S5 with all the CCM goodies goes for 350-450. I would sell on MCB because there is a better market for CCM pumps their as there are more collectors and pumpers. I wouldn't sell a J2 though, they are pretty rare and very sexy and J12s are very expensive ( I've seen 'em go for 1000 ish). If you are craving a new gun, I'll trade you my S5, hell I'll add cash!. And please, call me Panda, that's my MCB username and nickname (I wear a panda hat when I pump). Good luck with the sale!

Edit: Camp P is too far for me! Looks like a blast though!

Very cool, I'll check out the website. My J2 also has an eyehole, as well as two off colored parts (the asa and the on/off), plus a WGP trigger frame, so it's not an ideal situation. As far as the J12 goes, I'd plan on adding my name to the list and waiting like two years for it, so the price wouldn't be as extreme. I'd have added my name to the list already, but I don't feel comfortable doing it until I have at least half of the money in my pocket already, haha. Plus this is my second pump, as I also have a J2L without an eye hole, so I wouldn't feel so bad letting the J2 go if it leads to a J12 down the line for me :D

Again, thanks for the info!

Here's the J2 I want to sell:

Posted Image

And here's my baby:

Posted Image

I was just in Anderson a few weeks back and CCM was kind enough to run a little maintenance on this one, so now it shoots like a demon possessed! When I sell the J2, I'm also going to put my name down for one of those sexy red aluminum pump handles that CCM has been making.

I actually don't have a field I play at in LA yet for a few reasons: money, price, not knowing which field to go to, having nobody to carpool with, and having been out of paintball for a few years. When I get back from traveling in a few weeks, I hope to just say screw it and make it out somewhere at least once a month anyways. I've been playing while traveling and now I'm hooked all over again.

I remember seeing a video by Mike about a week ago where he says some fields have discounts for pump players. Do any of the fields in LA offer this? Thanks all!

Dang! Oh well, I thought it was a longshot anyways.

Upon reading the last few posts, I think I need to hold on to the J2 for a bit longer before selling it. A problem being that I spent about $400 getting it up and running and I don't want to LOSE money on it so I should have a look around and see if there is anything I can find to increase the value a bit, like getting a matching asa and finding an old ccm barrel that I bought way back in highschool. I'd like $450-500 +shipping when all is said and done, but I understand that this is pricey and I don't want to rip anybody off.

Also, this weekend will be the first time I'll be able to use it since putting it together (been traveling. Still traveling actually, in Syracuse, NY now). For all I know I'll pull the trigger and the whole thing will implode! Such is my luck with markers
