Equipment and supplies
...
Prohibited equipment: ... No personal fill stations allowed on the premises....

Does this rule apply to the Ninja Paintball PCP 13ci Fill Station (or kit which includes a 90ci 4500 Tank with 3K PSI output reg)?

So mind explaining a little bit more about how the Supply caches work more importantly the boxs as you said you may not tamper with them but what if I happen to come across one while i'm on the field?

D-Do I just leave it there?

Well here is the thing

Your side may well have a mission to go and retreive it. If they get there with the mission card, and there is no box to retrieve, they will NOT get the points for going out to that spot and picking it up with the mission card.

Conversely, if this is an enemy supply drop, and your opponents get there with the mission card, and there is no box to retrieve, the enemy will NOT get the points for going out to that spot and picking it up with the mission card.

Bottom line, at a Viper event communication is the key. Imagine just picking up the box and costing your side the mission points, and then having your side lose by that many points.

So someone like me who is more of a simple foot soldier if I see one of these boxs I should keep away from it.

Foot soldier = shoot people. Don't try anything unless you've got a mission card, or on a squad/team completing a mission.

Also if I find one for the opposite team SHOULD I take it? Thus not allowing the other team to get those points? I am not sure I fully understand sorry I know this is like explaining to a three year old.

I can do that! :D

The boxes aren't marked what side they are for, so unless you already know ahead of time don't touch it. Make a mental note and next time you are back at HQ just let the General or XO know about it. If its something that is needed than go get it.

They all look the same and contain the same things so, again, the only way you would know for sure is if you knew your side's supply missions and, by process of elimination, concluded that it was not one of your missions.

Best bet is to find someone near you with a radio, preferably on a major team. Let them know so they can contact their commander and find out about it.

This will be the first year we've had them at Living Legends, but in seventeen years of production we have featured them before at other Viper events.

There will be official props and official cards to go with them describing the exact effect of the prop, as well as the area of effect. There will also be antidotes/vaccines.

All of this will be connected with the NPC(s) (non-player-characters) at the event.

To say much more will take away the surprises and story elements of the game.

I think you tried to reply to this earlier Viper (forum said you replied at one something but, that post never actually appeared in the thread.

I'm afraid that safety concerns would prevent that due to the risk of grievous bodily harm in the event it crashed into someones head with a spinning propeler on the front.

However there ARE blimp-style units you can mount cameras too that I would consider.

Blimp style units? I like to buzz over at 2,000 feet on any given day when I fly (I am a student pilot :P )

I'm afraid that a fill station is a fill station....so yes those would be prohibited. Sorry.

Both battles have five slapsticks. (A Viper Paintball concept copied by many, many, many fields and promoters across the country)

Each is worth five points at every point check

Point checks happen every ten minutes

Dinner battle
  • 30 minutes long
  • Single-elimination
Final Battle
  • 40 minutes long
  • single elimination until the pyrotechnic
  • Open insertion after the pyrotechnic (Run back, tag up, wipe off your hits, reinsert)
If you have never participated in a Viper "Final Battle" you might want to do a search on YouTube for "Viper Final Battle" or "Legends Final Battle" to see what you are in for. ;-)

A lot of edits have happened since the original post. I recommend that everyone follow the link and read the current version.

http://www.viperpain...m/rules_ll7.pdf

The most annoying thing during a game is when somebody (who didn't take the time to read the rules) does something STUPID during a big play and screws things up for everyone. DON'T BE THAT GUY! Read the rules and ask questions NOW while you have time!
