I got an ion xe to play around with, what type of aftermarket body kits fit on this? The feedneck is part of the body kit so does that mean I need specific kits for an xe? what can I get besides a smart parts kit?
Also where can I buy clippard valves and stuff besides their website? I'm not paying $20 for shipping there.

I don't think they made any aftermarket bodies for the xe if I where you if just shave the body down and get all that rubber off it and paint it that's what I did and it turned out pritty cool another cool thing you could do it put a Mac noid in it there should be a nice how to on mcb for that

As far as I know, the only body kits compatible with the XE are the ones from Smart Parts. I don't think it will be hard to modify another one to fit, but I doubt it will fit without some modification.

I was afraid of that, but oh well, nothing a bit of paint can't fix! it's worth it for the bolt out back.

Heres a link to DW\Yodas mech dropin kit
http://www.mcarterbr...le-thread*.html
Ive had 2 for around a year,my favorite mech gun since my Micromag, may even like them more,Im not sure it will work with an XE thou, youd have to ask them, theyre both awesome guys who Ive bought, sold, traded, and asked tech question
I also used the same kit on a 2011 PMR with sucess and a little dremmeling
XE bodies are almost non existant,I have a Deadlywind tac body(DT-17?) that I was able to convert to XE innards I use on one of my boxmags, its the only one I know of that around but its big and not in production anymore

Thanks for the responses guys! The idea im going for is simialr to the one posted here http://www.pbnation....d.php?t=3890320 it's a walkable mech ion, so unfortunately the Yoda/DW kit isn't going to help me accomplish my goal. I've been looking around and unfortunately if I want it to be what I'm picturing I'll have only one option, that is to shell out ~$70 for the parts off clippards website. :/
