oh man, how does it shoot? Spyder Valves are not very... well the quality is not very good.

I'm not knocking your marker, just thinking of Spyder internals and cringing.

I would somewhat agree. I did this purely for fun. This was a broken spyder i got off eBay. It was very abused. The pump stroke is not the smoothest. But I'll let you on on this, it doesn't have a spyder valve. I have some very nice pumps; Palmers, Phantoms, WGP...
This was a blast to build, and it's nicer then you would think.

When I started I thought I was doing something original. I thought it would be hilarious. LOL. Should have known others had beat me to it. I definitely will be playing with this for a wile

Spumps are pretty fun. I've considered doing one before, but alas I just never got around to it.

Looks pretty cool, building a spump and a spimmy are on my bucket list.

That is a pretty clean example, there. Nice work.
Personally I'd rather see the blowback valve operation left intact and tuned.

I considered leaving the blow back intact but changed my mind when I decided to make it a stock pump. For open class that would have been cool. For SC I wanted the efficiency gain from modding the valve. Can't help it I love stock pumps.

Played with it yesterday, this thing is cooler then it looks. This is no longer a joke it is now one of my favorite pumps. Chrono at about 270-280 gave me an honest 35 good shots per 12 gram. Will shoot about 40 but the las 4-5 aren't worth anything. No malfunctions, and I've done a bit to drastically improve its pump stroke, very consistent shooter. Again this is honestly one of my favorite pumps.
