I hate the gym. It's so boring. I've come to realize through a few things that have happened lately that I hate walking on a treadmill and going nowhere. I hate walking around my neighborhood. I like actually doing something. That's why I like riding trails and paintball. I'm thinking about trying to get into hiking. Do any of you have any suggestions for more interesting forms of workout?

Good start. I'll have to see if there's anywhere to do that here and give it a try.

I have a bike. I enjoy trail riding. I also like watching basketball. I've got a ball I got for free from Napa auto parts. Maybe I should air up that bad boy and go find a court.

Basketball is a really good idea. If you play some fun games and take it seriously (Runnin and hustlin) you should be able to get a decent workout while having a fun time. Especially if you try cutting in and out against other players around your age.

I actually wouldn't mind trying that.

Only if I'm actually on the water for a fishing trip. It'd have to be more of a Kayak style of rowing because big gut is too biog to lean real far forward with the oars, lol.

Free-Running?
Or you could do hiking and rock climbing if your area allows such activities. I have the luxury of having an impressive amounts of beautiful hiking areas, and you can also climb around because of the mountains. Maybe you can say the same about your area?
