Is it alright for me to bring a easy up canopy to put over a table in the pits/staging area (whatever you guys call them lol). I know a few teams have them, but I want to make sure that it is okay for a random player to do it.

I will have a group of 5 players playing with me so we probably will take up most of the area it covers. Also I am not worried about sharing shade.

Nearly all of the picnic tables at the park are under canopies already. So, if you want a table under your canopy, you may want to bring it.

There's nothing saying you can't use one so, it really depends on where you want to put it.

I brought a canopy just for two people at LL4.
We just set it up in the camping. This year I'm going solo and don't have a canopy, so be careful or I might just steal some of that shade.

I guess that just depends on the weather.

Pop ups are only allowed in the Campland areas for this year. Please refer to the website portion labelled "on site camping" as it will explain everything.

do you mean pop ups as in pop up campers or are we talking about those pop up shade tents as well? Last year we set one up next to the retention pond between the parking lots. Off the road and out of traffic. Is that cool if we do that again this year? Its not a permanent camping situation, just one of those canopies for some shade.

Sean:

Historically, TechPB has had their staging area around the tree behind the stage. For the past three events, I've brought these types of items to provide shade for myself, my equipment and the occasional dehydrated/heat exhausted player that needed shade:

Are these types of items only allowed in the campland areas?

I'm not aware of what Mike and or Willy plan to do this year in regards to meeting and staging but, I want to be clear on what my options are.

Pop Ups meaning EZ-ups... etc... will have to go in the Campland areas. Anything that is a trailer, pop up trailer, RV, etc will have to go to the RV Parking.

The TechPB area will probably be allowed 2 tents. I have to confirm with Darryl tomorrow. I have NOT responded because we may need 2 paint trailers this year and it may move some things around. I am waiting on confirmation of this.

Yeah... that's right... 2 paint trailers. Posted Image

2 trailers. That is good.
So, in reading the on-site camping rules, does this mean the battle buses WILL be running this year? That would be really nice. We'd be spoiled with BOTH trams AND fill-stations at hospitals!
