Just looking for a quick summary of what makes the differences worth the prices in Shocker's between the NXT's and SFT's.

The best customer service is the one you don't have to call in the first place.

Nxt had improvements made to the eyes, detents, trigger, bolt (kinda), and it has ion threads on the barrel which makes it easier to find aftermarket barrels. They're pretty close overall really, and the sft is lighter. If you can get an sft for dramatically cheaper you wouldn't be missing out on much.

If the price isn't much difference, I'd go with the NXT, you'll be much happier in the end. Both are relatively cheap, and the SFTs are so old (by now) that it probably isn't worth getting unless it has an inline regular. The originals had the Maxflo regs built onto the tanks instead of the gun itself.

I have not used an NXT before but i can tell you that the SFT's trigger is terrible. Well the stock one at least, other people may like it but i hate it. I recommend holding each first and playing with them if its possible

Horizontal Stock Class CCI Phantom

2011 Proto Rail, Draxxus 68/45 with Ninja Pro Reg, Halo Too with Exalt Speedfeed, CP .685 14 inch 2 Piece Barrel.

I'm getting an nxt here soon. I'll tell you upgradability wise. It's easier to find parts for the nxt. Super smooth shooting fast fun guns shockers are still one of the best. They can hang with even todays pig names in paintball.

It's just joking, you'll be fine. If I really did that much damage I'll give you an Internet hug.

There were different levels of stock sft. Maxflo reg then with eyes. The biggest difference between 05 sft and the nxt other than cosmetic is the nxt came stock with the HE bolt.

You can find some screaming deals on sfts these days. Bought my last one off eBay, he can, ndz bolt, virtue board, ton ton frame, hybrid guide, critical trigger, clamping feed neck cp reg, etc.... bunch of ups, for $136 shipped. Mild tune and sprung the bolt and it shoots with anything. Got it for a backup and its replaced my dm9. Do a little reading, zds paintball, has a great shocker section. Main shocker group is at pbn.
