I'm 15years old, i'm currently a freshman and I am seeking ways other then the obvious to earn money for paintball. I am going to be working at my usual field for paint soon. I live in Texas which means that the age to work for minimum wage is 16 (unless paid by other means) so I have very little options at the moment. Any information would help. Thanks!

Mow yards

I would also recommend this. You would be surprised by how much you can earn charging 10-20 bucks for every lawn you mow. Get a few neighbors to start paying you for it and you'll have your costs covered without much trouble.

I constantly ask my parents to go through stuff they would normally give to goodwill and sell it. It works better than a job

Working at my field is the only way I've been able to afford my paintball related expenses. This includes paint, gear, and the occasional tournament entry fees.

Parent loans?
Or you could try busing. I believe the age for that is lowered

Wrong. In the state of Texas you may work starting at the age of 14. how do I know that? Because I got offered a job as soon as I turned the legal age. So you can get a job /endthread

Regardless of the law, it's still really hard to get employed as someone under 16 with the job market being pretty meh. With connections? Sure, no problem. But a lot of company's won't even look at someone under 16.

For a good job? Its pretty hard. But for places like fsst food resteraunts and stuff? Pretty easy if they're even thinking about hiring.

A good job would be delivering the newspapers. Thats where I get all my funding. I get 1.5k a year.

But I must say, its hard work.

Baby sitting and tutoring (if your a good student) are gold mines. I am a dude and baby sit on a semi regular basis for 10$ an hour. Just be nice to people's kids and take good care of them. If your lucky, they'll ask you to help out with birthday parties ect. Its easy to make 50 bucks in a day. I make 15$ an hour tutoring kids in math, If you have good grades and test scores it is easy to find someone who wants you to help little Johnny brush up on his multiplication. Currently I only tutor one kid, but I'm trying to expand. The older you get, the easier it will be.

I'm currently a caddy at my local country club. IMO it's the best job ever. You have to do a limited amount of work, you get huge tips sometimes (I once got a $250 tip), and lastly you get to ride in a golf cart

1) Go on ansgear.com, 2) buy something that is on sale. 3) sell that thing on eBay for full price. 4) get arrested for running an unlicensed business.

Learn some form of IT skills then start offering your services at fiverr. Like build websites on the cheap. I could show you how setup a free website and domain name.
