Hello guys this is my first pump and I was wondering if you would rate my setup

Limited edition gold azodin kaos pump
Extreme rage 100 round loader
Empire 48/3000

Do you guys think I should change to the 50 round hopper or stay with this one? Thanks :)

your fine with what you got.

I'd advise on switching to a smaller/lighter tank though.

I like the extreme rage 100 round hopper a lot for pump. Just keep that. Down the road I'd pick up something like a 45/4500 tank, but the steelie is good for now if that's what you have.

^I agree, just later down the road his next "big" upgrade should be a tank

Not a problem, it's what were here for.

look for a used tank as well... save you quite a bit of Cash. Unless the tank has a giant crack in it, 95% of tanks sold used work just fine.

Thanks praetorian I will look into buying a cf tank in the next month or so

And bassfisher I think I'm going to stay with it for a while because it saves so much paint
But I will tell you when I pick up a new marker .. That's if you still want it :)

It's actually a very good marker. The only thing that bothers me is the lack of Autotrigger, but for it's price, it's pretty awesome.

Well its not like you have to. I can easily shoot 1000 balls of paint a day with an Empire Sniper because of the autotrigger, and I do. Very often. But sometimes ill run a 50 round on it and shoot like 300 balls the whole weekend.

I might have to recommend dropping the 5 bucks on a APP 50rnd hopper and saving for a used 13/3000k (40ish bucks) if you are going for light and tight. I run this setup on my AKP and it is great for walk on play. My total set up is so light and easy to point. Throw a tight bore barrel on that sucker (i went lurker) and you're golden. I am saving up for a 45/4500 for larger games. I run with one 100 rnd pod.

this, depending on how good your mask is. if your goggle system is having any fog issues you won't be able to hit anyone if you can't see them. investing in a good pair of goggles is crucial for paintball and pump play especially!! make sure it is breathable so you're comfortable wearing it playing and will never take it off on the field EVER... also see how well you can communicate, some masks (E-vents) get really hot on the face and muffle any commands or communication attempts by you to your team, which is a big problem

You have a good starter pump set-up as is...that said, there is some room for improvment.

If you are looking for some upgrades, start with an underbore barrel, preferably a 10" barrel since the
Kaos block is so big. This will be a great upgrade since the Kaos barrel will have you paint rolling out the front, if you point our marker down.

Next, get yourself a 13/3000 tank, you will find it will give you about 150 shots per fill and make you marker handle more like a pump.

Enjoy you new pump!
