I would say Proton since its quieter and smoother whereas the Crossover is better for scenario and fields without good air fills because its more efficient.

Thats if you must buy new though, there are a ton of great used markers out there for the same price and better performance.

Id personally get a new eXTCy or used Axe for that proce.

I would probably take the Valken proton. Just seems like a overall better marker to me. Unless you want something unique like the tippmann.

Crossover 100% its a worlds better marker. the only advantage to the proton would be the board. but since tippmann released the new trigger the crossover is one of, if not THE best marker in the price range

I would say buy something used and get more performance for your dollar. If I had to pick one I'd take a crossover

Because buying a different mass produced gun than the mass produced gun everyone else has is so original.

I think the invasion is too ugly and lacks an oled, which i find very necessary for a modern gun over 500 dollars

Oled isnt necessary one bit, nor is it even that useful. Ugly is subjective. The gun itself is good.

So you want easy maintenance but also something unique? Good luck finding parts then.

Also there are a total of ONE marker under $700 that has an OLED and that's achieved by cutting corners elsewhere in the design.

Have you dealt with TippmannPlayer97? I'm quite surprised at his maturity, given that I'm only a few months older than him. It must be because I'm better. But he is wrong, and his logic is unreasonably flawed in which he backs up his claims.

If somebody says "gun a is better than gun b" and another guy says "go fuck yourself, gun b is better", then those are opinions.

Example: this thread

We're comparing two mid level markers here. If we were comparing a Talon to an Ego, then obviously the Ego is better.

When you're comparing two guns in the same class, it really just boils down to personal preference.

And that's your opinion.

You could get an Axe for around $450 or a Crossover for around $350. It's up to the individual to decide what he likes about the two.

IMO, they are the same class since they both fall in the $300-$500 price range.

edit: checked prices

I'm not mad, actually. You're the one that's getting butthurt over someone liking something different than you.

I fail to see how liking a different paintball gun than what most people like makes someone a "hipster"? How do you know he has the "obvious need" to be different? For all we know, he may legitimately think the Crossover is a better marker. Liking something different than what most people like doesn't make someone a hipster.

It sounds like you're just trying to tell yourself that the Axe is the best gun ever made, when in reality its just a slightly larger Mini with an on/off.

oh its more than just a bigger mini. has different trigger activation, relay asa, roller bearing trigger, tool less bolt removal. so yea get your facts right noob.

and no im not trying to sell myself on the axe, its a decent marker but its not the only marker i would use. i mean i even shoot a g6r as my primary and that bitch be shooting great.

You seem to be upset. Why do you have to make yourself feel superior over everyone else?

And the Axe is essentially the same as a Mini. They both shoot exactly the same, the Axe just has a few more "luxury upgrades". I could care less about tool less bolt removal or whether the trigger uses bearings or not.

I'm hardly a "noob', either. I've been playing for 7 years.

Also, you should learn how to speak properly and not act like a ghetto douchebag.

A better trigger is a huge improvement over the Mini. The Axe also shoots smoother than the mini. Honestly, you CAN use any gun to compete. But for the price, why not use the best you can get?

A better trigger is a huge improvement over the Mini. The Axe also shoots smoother than the mini. Honestly, you CAN use any gun to compete. But for the price, why not use the best you can get?

Trigger is personal preference. I like the Mini's trigger more, TBH.

Both the Axe and Mini shoot the same to me.

Again, all this boils down to is personal preference. I'd rather buy a Mini and have a gun that performs like an Axe while saving $125. Other people would rather do the opposite.

No, he doesnt. Axe and Invasion are the best markers new in this price range.

Ugh, spare me the conformist opinions. Its nice to have something more unique than an axe.

At least my axe will not go down more than yours and probably shoot better. So you do that and let me wreck you

Why are you getting so angry, especially when he wasn't even talking to you?

"WAHH YOU DON'T LIKE WHAT I LIKE SO YOU'RE WRONG"

Grow up and stop threatening people over the internet, douchebag.
