Alright, so I have my computer almost complete, but I need some help with a graphics card.

My budget is around $230ish or so, I'm not sure though what would be the best in that price range.

Forgot to mention, I only have a 350 watt power supply. I'm not looking to run anything on ultra graphics, I'm just wanting to play some DayZ and tf2.

What PSU? What CPU?

If you have a crappy 350 watt PSU, you'd probably do better getting a slightly lower end card and picking up a good PSU. It doesn't really pay to spend money on a graphics card if two months down the road the power supply fails and leaves you with a $200 brick.

If you're running a low power CPU, you'd probably get away with something like a CX430 and a 7850.

Alright, as far as power supply, would this suffice?
For the processor, I have a intel i5.

So, with that psu, would I be able to run this card with 6gb of ram?

http://www.extreme.o...culatorlite.jsp use this to figure out what wattage power supply you need. I like to take the "recommended" wattage and slap another 50w on it to be positive it will be enough. Never had a problem in any build with this website.

Anything corsair for the PSU, and you can pick up a 7850 for under $150 if you wait for a sale. 7850 would be overkill for what you want, my 6870 gets 200+ fps on tf2.

That PSU will be fine. PSU calculators grossly over estimate wattage requirements.

I'll have to let someone else field the GPU question. I'm not very familiar with the 650 ti boost. Last I knew of was the 650 ti, and it wasn't as good as the 7850.

That said, for TF2 and DayZ, you don't need high end graphics. TF2 is an easy game to drive, and Day Z is CPU limited.

What's your resolution? My 7770 runs Far Cry 3 on Ultra at 40 FPS. I have a 1440x900 screen and a Phenom II X4 965.

I have no personal experience, but I haven't read great things about Sapphire's RMA experience.

^^. Exact card in my computer now. I can vouch it is a good card and it runs cool and quiet. It was 67C after 15 minutes in MSI Kombuster.
