I just installed an auto trigger on my sniper. It shoots fine normally, but when I'm using the auto trigger feature, the balls only shoot about 2 feet. Any idea what could be causing this?

It might not be timed.

Sorry I'm kinda new to pump, but I was under the impression that snipers did not need timing - just sweet spotting the reg

you can time an autotrigger. It is most likely because it is firing when the bolt isn't all the way forward. Try screwing the hammer lug in more.

This is exactly what happens. I'll screw in the lug and try it again tomorrow after I get home from work. Thanks!

This is specifically for the CCM S6.5, but it is a great guide and applies to all autococker based pumps with autotrigger.

I like autocockers and autococker accessories.

Adjust the lug so that the hammer drops just as the bolt closes.

If I remember correctly I think the bolts with the third o-ring at the front were meant to help with timing. Maybe someone else can confirm it, don't trust me on that.

I adjusted the lug on the hammer to drop it more and it definitely fixed it. I learned something new! Autotriggers have to be timed. Thanks for the responses guys!
