Should I get a 3+4 pod pack or a 4+5 pod pack? I just want to know because I'm about to get my first pod pack because I want to start playing speedball soon.

I never shoot more than 3 pods in a speedball game and if you Cary to much paint its harder to move so go with like an NXE elevation pack.

3+4 would be plenty
Stop worrying about how you look, and start worrying about how you play. Get out on the field and play paintball the best you can, not stand at home in front of a mirror trying to figure out if your jersey matches your eyes.

What's the difference between the NXE elevation pack, the NXE Tp series pack, and the GXG 3+4 deluxe pack? Because the price difference seems pretty big to me..

Also ToxinPB what position do u play primarily to shoot 3 pods a game?

Quality! plain and simple. Dont even think about the GXG. look at the elevation or a empire, or a good quality pack.

Ohhh so the GXG has a tendency to rip and tear easier than the NXE? Also what are some good packs to get that won't break the bank too much (keep in mind I live in Canada)

I enjoy using a 4+ pack just for the option to carry more paint if I need to. Remember that just because your pack can carry 10 pods doesn't mean you have to take 10 pods on the field.

I use the GXG pack and it works fine for me. not as comfortable as a higher end pack but for 30 bucks its a great pack.

It isn't a specific pack, but my friend had a GXG pack. It got caught on a branch the first time out and ripped. It may not be indicative of GXG's quality, but I'm not buying GXG for anything but pods.

Oh and in case this isn't unprofessional enough yet.

You want a good pack. Forget the GXG, go with the NXe Elevation or any of the other packs we recommended.

Ok thanks guys for the help. I'll definitely reconsider what pack to get. I think this will be the pack I try to shoot for. I don't know if they have where I live locally though so plan B is this because it's the only one I have in my size D: (and only if its local). And my plan c is the same pack as the first link but at the other store if they have it or this pack. Thanks for the help guys

Buy a 4+3 NxE pack and never buy a podpack again. That thing will last you until you're old and fat, and then it will still fit. If you feel like 4 pods is too much paint, then just take 3 on the field with you.

No one has mentioned the Proto Fighter 3+4 or 4+5, which is another great pod pack that runs between $35 and $40. I like it better than the NXE TP packs at the same price point.

EDIT: Whoops, I didn't see that was OP's plan C. Personally, it would be my plan A.

I don't even use a pack anymore. I just play recball and use maybe 50-100 a game. If you play speedball and like to shoot, 3 should be plenty.
