Do you have to use a low pressure tank in a 2011/2012 g6r or can you use HP?

you can use HP. I HAVE!!! the only problem is the 0-ring in the asa. after about 3-4 uses with HP the 0-ring will be torn because of the threads on the ASA knob will tear it up. I just use medium pressure on my ninja tank by removing the shims and works great.

Because, I have a problem.
And the only way it will be better is if I have more guns.

Would it be worth it to get a low pressure tank?

Yes, it will save you headaches in the future. The marker will operate on HP output just fine, but the reliability of that system is diminished.

Like previously stated I would look into ninja regs.

You have 3 choices that could work with your current setup.
SLP reg: if you want the most efficiency out of the g6r
Standard adjustable reg: cheapest and output can be set to 450psi which is low enough but less efficient than the SLP.
Pro reg: if you want the best reg ninja has to offer and you can use on any marker as well as the g6r but I don't believe you can adjust it to the output pressure of a SLP.
