How do you adjust the velocity through a wgp prostock reg?

What year prostock? Does it have the fitting coming out the bottom or side?

If you're talking about this reg, you can't adjust it. Buy an adjustable one like a used hyper 2 or a CP reg.

Actually, I think I read somewhere you can adjust it, but you have to take it apart which is almost impossible without a vice (I tried with a strap wrench and it broke by strap wrench).

Yeah, you just have to take off the very bottom part of the regulator to get at the adjustment nut. This is quite annoying, especially when you're trying to sweetspot the gun, cause you have to keep degassing and unscrewing the reg every time you want to make an adjustment.

I would leave the reg alone unless it is really inconsistent and needs maintenance. To get your velocity where it should be, adjust thru the ivg.
