I am thinking about hosting a nostalgia paintball tournament for pre 2004 guns on the airball field. To help draw people to our new field in east Texas would this be a good idea?

If you could find enough people, problem is most people use new guns.

Ask the people at the field if theyre interested. Possibly start a refundable pre-registration that will show how many people are committed bu will go back to them if you dont get enough people to register. Or maybe like a $5-10 non-refundable down payment.

I personally don't think enough new players would be committed or interested in a tournament given the cost it will require.

Since the field is new no.

When you gain a good reputation you can then start hosting events like that.
