I'd rather have a g5, but the axe will be fine if you like the ergonomics. just skip the mini though.

Are you open to any other options?

Otherwise I would go with the axe.

Go to a pro shop and hold all three In your hands cycle the trigger and test shoot them if you can. The one you like the feel of best is best gun in your price range for YOU.

At this point all three of those guns are pretty reliable. Some like one better than the other for various reasons but that don't mean that is the one for you.

Have you held an axe? I personally don't like the feel of it. Try and get your hands on each and shoot them. Everyone has different preferences. But a used axe will probably be your best bet of the three

 Oh you...

How the times have changed. I totally agree with the suggestion of those though. Used Egos and Dye Matrixes are good options too.

Why do you need fast shooting? If it pulls 15 you should be fine, and i cant think of any modern electros that dont do that, especially above 200 bucks. Might i recommend looking at a used Dangerous Power FX? Theres one one the bst here if i remember correctly. They arent the smoothest or quietest guns, but they shoot nice, and come packed with cool features, like an OLED screen, 16 inch barrel stock, and a reversible trigger so you can have a scythe or rake trigger, depending on your preference. Used Bob Long Vices are great too. Axes are good guns, but I myself am not a big fan of them.

If you can't pull the trigger fast enough then you will not have a fast shooting gun regardless of what marker you buy.

Doesn't matter what gun you have, how old you are, what paint you shoot, who your up against, how bad of a day you had... All that matters is that your playing paintball now.

Out of the selection I would go with the axe. Otherwise I would suggest you look into getting an used bob long marq 6, bob long vice, dye dm9, or a proto pm8. I would personally go with the dm9 or the pm8, but it really comes down to personal preference.

Dangerous power is a fine company these days. The G4 needed some out of the box fixes but once thats set its a great marker

^until you compare it with other guns. I agree that company hate is no reason to turn down a marker, but I also agree that no Dangerous Power marker is really that good, not counting the E1 if you only play semi, and the rev-I, which seems to be half and half anyways.

If you can find a dm9 for under $360 I would go with that, otherwise get a pm8 or a dm8.

Aww you, you shouldn't have. ;) Anyway the Axe is a great marker, its only downfall are the ergos and if you can't get over that like me a more traditional marker style will probably better. I feel the FX is right next to the Axe due to the board mostley, the rest of the gun shoots similar to a Etek but, a little quieter.Only gripe I have about DP guns are the feednecks have teeth on them causing them to scratch both my rotor and halo same goes for the Axe and Mini. I like the reflex rails but, they come out with a new one every year causing the resale to drop quite fast.

If dangerous power made a gun that was super good, like as good as an lv1 or something and was super reliable, I wouldn't buy it. Dangerous power needs a reboot like smart parts. Makes some better shit. Anyways, my dangerous power rant is over. Steer clear of the g5. axes are very reliable, only one thing to maintain (the bolt), shoots like a high end, very good efficiency, and all for less than a g5. Also the mini lacks MANY features such as the asa and micro switch. The trigger on the mini, to me, is so unimaginably bad, I can't stand to shoot it semi. Anyway axe>everything>mini>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>g5/dangerous power

I don't believe that last part is true, as an used dm9 or pm8 will be better than the axe, it should look like this: dm9>=pm8>vice>axe>mini>g5. The vice and the dm9/pm8 will come down to preference (spool vs poppet), but otherwise IMO they are better than the axe, but with everything it will come down to personal preference, as you can't go wrong with the dm9/pm8, vice, or the axe, I would suggest you try them out first if you can and see which one you like the best.

Dangerous Power is a great company, abeit not as good as maybe PE or Kee but regardless good. As far as I have seen from my field to people on youtube and techpb no one has had troubles with the G5.
