Hey, Ive been a woodsball guy for the last 4 years and spent a lot of money on paintball. Im looking to get into the speedball/hyperball side of things without spending a ton of more money. I want a cheeper speedball gun that is still going to get the job done and have minimal maintenance issues. Ive done some research, but looking to turn to you guys. Now, your suggestions don't have to be limited to the guns in the title, anything you think would be a good start up speedball gun for a noob like me, let me know. Thanks! - DyeNut

Hold and shoot an Axe, MacDev Drone DX and Etek and pick the one you like best.  FYI if the pressure on the Axe is set above 170 it for sure isn't tuned and isnt a good representation of the marker.

Also you can get a used one of any of these stil in excellent condition for cheaper than new on trademygun.com.  I know someone who's bought 4 Axes for his team from them and although all were priced as used some were still plastic wrapped and the others were still brand new for all he could tell.

FX's are great markers. Very underrated. Etek or FX get my vote

I like loud, kicky poppets. I am the last of my people.

Elaborate please, I own a FX and I think it is quite good. It has never given me a problem, it is efficient, not as loud as a etek, comes with a tooless clamping feedneck, great packaging, a OLED board. Axes shoot nice but, that is all it shoots nice. Axe comes with shitty packaging, a invert mini barrel, the eyes are soldered to the board and not to mention you can't even clean the eyes. The Axe is a great marker but, the FX is far from bad.
