I was browsing on ANSGear when I found this!

The all new Pinokio Speed paintball loader is expected to begin shipping in late September of this year. Re-Designed from the ground up, the Pinokio speed is one of the lightest weight and fastest feeding loaders to ever hit the paintball market.

Pinokio Speed Loader Features:
- Powered by 2 9V Batteries
- 30 Case Battery Life
- Nylon Shell Material
- JAM FREE TECHNOLOGY
- One Button Operation
- P Board Technology
- Tool-less Lid and Nose Removal
- Low Battery Indicator
- Encapsulated Gear Box
- Lifetime Warranty

Got it from: http://www.ansgear.c...ader_s/4249.htm

The "spy" photos make it seem as though Nokio upgraded it's shell plastics. However, this vaccuchrome version looks cheap and brittle.

No sign of the camera in the reflection - either they edited it out, or both the "real" pictures and the renderings are computer generated.  I'm going to lean on the latter.

As for the nose cone, it clearly still has a spot for one.  I'm curious if that will be a separate purchase that has not finished design phase yet?

guys...I am the one in the photo. on united #28 there. that was mapl I have been testing it. only one so far. in mapl and nppl. any questions ask me. and btw it is tooless to get to the batteries and inside is easy to clean if you ever get shot there. the nose comes off, can fit hand in no problem. and the speed feed pulls off can fit hand in. yes shell is still held together....but new motor and new internals. its nice. any questions ask em

Do you know if the speedfeeds that fit the currents one will fit the new one too or will I need to get a different one?

Ehh, for 149.99 I don't see it selling better than the other super loaders. Besides, all Dye has to do is manufacture the exact same rotor but cal it the "Rotor 2.0" and price it at 200 bucks and everybody will buy that...I mean, that's what they did with the new DM13 right? hehe

You seem to not have seen the rotor2 prototype whole new design new features.

If its not tool less they might as well go ahead and file bankruptcy cause it wont sell in todays market.

It's not tool-less. Screw holes and a clamshell body are clearly observed. I am rather disappointed...and as a current owner of 2 Pinokios, will not be buying a new one from them when the time comes. Cleaning out broken paint from a clamshell sucks bad with or without the easily removable nose.

If they are indeed ready by Fulda Gap as Mike said, then that is 3 weeks away. They are listed as an official Fulda Gap sponsor.  I did not see a booth at Cup.

We'll know soon.

You can get a rotor for 150, and TBH I am not happy with the durability of Pinokio's Hoppers, although they never jam. So why would you buy an undurable, not as fast, uglier, and higher profile hopper?

I like the capacity and how simple they function. I don't care if another loader is faster when I would never out-shoot the Pinokio anyways.

I DO wish they came with the tool-less and nicer Rotor-type shells though. If they aren't coming with proper modern shells in the future, I wouldn't buy another.

In corresponding with Pinokio Hoppers via email, I was informed that they are still screwed together in a clamshell manner on the SPEED loader. What a shame.

Idk. The Nokio was always good to me. In fact, if it wasn't so damn big and ugly, and if it didn't take two 9v, I would've kept it as my main loader.

Have you used one?    We haven't had a durablity problem with ours.   As you said it doesn't jam and it is more than fast enough.

I owned one and sold it on pbn because it was underable, and the profile was insane. I was got hit more on the hopper than I was on my body

How may times did you break it?  I assume none since you were able to sell it

If you're sticking out properly, any hits to a Pinokio that wouldn't hit a smaller hopper would hit your head anyway, so it's a moot point, unless it's bigger than your head somehow.

True, but much higher chance of bounce over a head band/sandana/hat etc over a hard plastic hopper

I woudn't call it a moot point at all, not even close.. A lot of players hold their guns high enough for the hopper to go over your head. Plus a bigger hopper is a bigger target when you are running or popping over the snake.

1064751_10151530723918315_863485252_o.jp

Look at this picture, how many pf the players are holding their guns so that the hopper is the highest point? I know especially I do that.

True, I guess everyone I play with doesn't hold the gun that high.

Well in all the years of using the old Pinokio and currently been using the new one for just a few weekends, I have Never had a Pinokio blend paint. Now if you add broken paint perhaps it would blend. But I know I have used all types of paint and have never had a blender issue from the hopper.
