ok well I will tell you right now when i opened this thread I expected mass confusion on who the people would be hating on. Let me explain... Angel went out of biz a little while back and although thee made some pretty amazing markers ( if you knew how to tune them) you cant get a tech on angels nowadays so if your angel breaks down and you cant fix it you are screwed. And everyone on techpb hates dangerous power guns because some of them have a tendency to leak.

Angel will be superior or for sure. And we don't recommend dangerous power guns because you can do better for the price range. Even their high end, the revi couldn't compare to other high ends in the price range. The revi just looked cool, and was a decent shooter, but not on par with most high ends. The fx kicks a ton and is a poorly made marker with an expensive board.

Most of that is exaggeration. The FX shoots quite nicely for a poppet, the Rev-i holds up, especially since they only cost $800 new, hardly $1000+ "high end" pricing.

Yeah, I own a FX and it is great. It has never given me problems and I still use it even though I own a Ego 11.

Angel guns are now a fairy tale that only pepperridge farm remembers. Jokes aside, if something goes wrong, which is not so uncommon with angels, you're fucked. The fx sucks. Loud, kicky, ugly, horrible trigger, and backed by the worst company in paintball. Just my opinion but like lots of people say everybody on techpb is Dp haters and axe fanboys. However, I have experience with both of those stereotypes and to me, they are true! Anyways, I'd suggest getting norther of the two and going with the planet eclipse Etha or etek 4, or the empire axe.

Worst company in paintball? *cough cough smart parts*. I'd say the FX. It doesnt suck, its no kickier than an etek, maybe a bit louder. i havent compared etek and fx side by side but to me all poppets sound pretty much the same. Ugly is subjective, i think they are in the top 3 best looking markers out there and the trigger is pretty nice IMO. That said, Angels are sex guns. You certainly wont be disappointed with either. The FX shoots like a midend poppet, the angel shoots like an angel. dont expect any more out of them and you will be happy.

The fact that you recomend the Etha just goes to show that you know nothing.

Nothing, it is a begginer gun with a mid end price. Nothing wrong with it but, for the price you could get a used fx,axe,or a etek lt.

How is an etha a beginner gun? I dont have much experience with them but one of my local teams uses them and they do pretty well against the other teams with their Dye's and axes

It's a beginner marker. And that doesn't prove anything. Of course it'd do just fine. That's where skill and experience comes into play. A good team with Azodin Blitz's would still fare rather well against a bad team with Egos or DM's. That doesn't mean that the blitz isn't a beginner marker.

Ethas are consistantly inconsistant. FXs don't leak. Axes are a better choice than both.

if you going for the angel(which i highly suggest) these 3 things will be your best friend. 1: angel parts.com, a life-saver for parts. 2:mini reg mod, makes reg take hp tanks. 3: tech pb tech forums.

Any one with a B2k pds board?
