I ordered my 10 round tubes in bulk off some trusted ebay seller... I figured hell even in bulk if a few are bent or cracked I could toss them, as I only use 20 in my pack for the biggest days. But to my surprise all came perfect condition. I prefer a stock, not only because it makes the marker feel a bit more traditional in hand, but it really truly improves the ability to aim, by steadying any barrel movements. For a shot at 100 feet, an inch, or even centimeter can extrapolate out to a miss. The phantom's Adjustable t-stock is pretty light and very comfortable, but there are endless great stock options. I use the best paint I can get for my money, usually this means marbalizer.. In the punkworks testing a while back firing paintballs that had sanded down seams, vs top shelf stuff, I remember seeing marbalizer as one of the tightest spreads shot with unmodified balls. I really see the difference between a bag of fresh marbalizer and other stuff. To me the biggest help is it has been in my experience a brittle on the target but durable in the gun shell. It shoots straight as any of the good top shelf stuff like premium or ultra (insert what ever brand here) but I notice with that stuff I get tons of barrel breaks, and breach breaks, whereas with marbalizer it is much more rare occurance. I also like the bright(ish) green color/multi colored ball as it makes it easy to track for long ball adjustments, and gives a decent idea of where to adjust. hope you are thinking about SC, it is really a great way to play, I love it and it is a hell of a good time

I buy mine from Titus on MCB. He runs CelanisPb so I know I'll get a quality tube. I bought my very first tubes from him on Ebay.
I do use a stock, but I'm using a Sheridan KP3 rather than a Phantom. When I did have my Phantom I had a stock on it though, it was an adjustable/ fold-able JCS stock.
Something that fits the bore well.

I got my tubes from paintball gateway. I just picked it up from their store. Titus on MCB would have been my second choice.
I shoot a VCS phantom and use an L-stock. I've never really played with a T-stock, but the L-stock seemed like a good length to me. I tried without a stock when I first got it and it was fun to run around with it, but my accuracy at any kind of longer range was terrible.
As far as paint goes, at this point I've pretty much decided that I'm only ever going to buy Ultra Evil. I initially had problems with it breaking in the breach/barrel, but I picked up the regulator CCI uses for the Revolution and haven't had a break since... unless I severly underbore.. And I also have a CCI barrel bored for freak inserts. I've bought Marbs a couple of times. My opinion is that they fly just as straight, but the shell is too tough and I get more bounces that I'd like with them. Ultra Evil can be too brittle like Phantom was saying, so I would suggest getting a bag and trying it out with your setup if you can.

I do not use a stock as I have a micro-phantom that I use pretty much as a pistol.
I primarily use marbs or premium if they're available.
