Selling all my jersey to get some elbow pads and I don't know where to start. About 3 years ago when I first started playing I got some elbow pads with a package and hated them they were super hot and didn't breath at all. I'm not looking to spend more the $60. Are there any Recommend brands?

In my opinion, its between Planet Eclipse and Dye for the best elbow pads. Between the two, its fitment and personal preference. I owned both at one point, but swear by the Dye elbow pads now. Fits me great, breath fine, and durable.

Look at dye and Planet Eclipse. Try both on, and whichever fit you better, get them.

PE and dye. I got dye because the sizing on the PE was a little weird for me. The dyes were perfect. Try either one and what fits you best go with. They are both awesome

I like the planet eclipse ones. Then, what you can do is use what's left of your budget for entry or paint.

They're ok, but not good. You will regret it, and just keep replacing them each year.

I don't have experience with Empire but my Dye Core's are very comfortable and durable. Also, stay away from HK unless you want to replace them often.

Nothing wrong with PE's.  I've crawled down rock hills with mine.

Prevail pads are absolutely horrible IMO.  Eclipse is so much better its not even funny and are $40.

Empire pads are okay, but the empire prevails are terrible. I would go with eclipse or dye.

Dye is better if they fit, cause they are less adjustable than the Planet Eclipse pads, but if they fit you right then they are better IMO.

I have the THT empire elbow pads and they are awesome, had to really break them in as they where really stiff first few days. Also they have a loop that attaches to the chest, slide shorts, and knee pads (Chest to elbow, and shorts to knees).

The Dye pads pads are great, but expensive. Those pads will last you a very long time though, they won't be falling apart anytime soon.
