Are they worth the extra couple bucks? Cause I'm thinking of picking some up because I'm started the get frustrated with the standard pods popping open and spilling paint even if I secure the lid.

A lot of people have had problems with them. The bumps on the side make it extremely hard for them to pull out of packs. I'd say they're not worth the price point. Empire pods and Proto pods are great at having a secure lid.

Try empire pods, I love mine. Very secure when closed, but easy to open.

I swear by my proto pods. They have NEVER broken on me and they stay shut no matter what until you try to open them. Once you try to open them, they pop open really easily

Proto Pods seem to be very good, but empire pods are also pretty awesome.

I tried using lock lids, but it sucks when you lose them.

I go through so many pods that I can't have lock lids. When I play on a big field and am going through pods I don't always remember where I tossed at least one on the field so when the games are over I usually can't find one or two.

I love Valken pods that is the only pods I use. Every other I hate except protos but I still stick with the valkens. Cheap and stay closed even if the fall out of your pack.

lock lids make me sad, if you want a fancy pod, get the proto pods (I know sounds crazy, same company) I just find the lock lids a pain in the ass to open.

Locklids, only useful for pocket hopper mods, a cup, bong, or anything else other than containing paintballs

Those JT fast pods are neat, but I'll stick with my empire pods

I liked using the locklids, but they opened alot when i went to pull them out. Just go with normal pods.

Normal pods! Lock lids can't pull em out of some packs lol! My nxe pack one time I used em for rec day of woods ball cause they'd hold more couldn't pull em out of the damn pack! The black part just pulled off and I dumped 2/4 they are shitty for the price! And just sitting down on a chair if you got em in loops they'll fucking open when I stand up! Hate them! We get valken ones for free and I like them lol but a pods a pod to me unless its some weird old one! I like empire ones too alot!
