I am looking for new barrel kit without spending the big bucks. The freak kit is too much for a budget baller like me. What should I look into?

first things first, do you really need a whole kit? i only have one bore and i've never felt like i have needed another bore.

If you're looking for the ability to use different bores, you really only need about 3. A .680, .685, and a .690, give or take. Those sizes give you the ability to overbore or underbore just about any size paint out there, for the most part. That will run you $90 (based on $30 barrel prices)

I have an empire axe and the bore is too big for the paint I use with the stock barrel. The field i play at only allows you to play with the field paint.

so why do you need a kit then? just buy a single barrel in a smaller bore than you have now

Does the paint shoot?  What is the problem with the stock barrel then?  A new barrel will give you a slight efficiency gain and nothing else.
